# Share your QR code

> Show or download your QR code so people can open your digital business card.

Your QR code opens your digital business card. Someone can scan it with their phone camera to view your details without installing Tapify.

## Share in person

**1. Open your QR code**

In Tapify, open **Card** and tap your QR code to open **Share**.

**2. Let the other person scan**

Show the code and ask them to scan it with their phone camera. They tap the link to open your card.

**3. Exchange details**

They can select **Exchange contact details** to send theirs back, then **Save contact** to save yours. [How contact exchange works](https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/exchange-details.md)

## Download your QR code

Use the image on printed material, a presentation, or an email signature.

> Open **Share** and check that **Share your card offline** is off. Select **Download QR code** and allow Tapify to save it to Photos.

> The Android app does not currently include a QR download button. You can show your code in Tapify, Wallet, or the Widget.

> With a personal account, open [Overview](https://tapify.app/me) in the web dashboard and select **Download QR**. Your code downloads as an SVG image.

Test your downloaded QR code with a phone camera before printing or sharing it. Keep the full code and the clear space around it visible.

> Show the entire code, increase screen brightness, and avoid glare. Ask the other person to move their camera slightly farther away. For a printed code, check that the image is sharp.
