# Share with NFC

> Share your digital business card by tapping your physical Tapify card against a phone.

Use your physical Tapify NFC card to open your digital business card on someone’s phone. They need a compatible phone and internet access, but no Tapify app.

## Share with a tap

**1. Prepare the receiving phone**

Ask the other person to wake and unlock their phone.

**2. Hold your card near the NFC reader**

* **iPhone:** Hold your card near the top of the phone.
* **Android:** Hold it against the back, usually near the center or top. The reader’s position varies by phone.

Keep the card still for a moment until a notification appears.

**3. Open your digital business card**

Ask them to tap the notification. Your card opens in their browser, where they can view your details and [exchange contact details](https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/exchange-details.md).

> Use the QR code printed on your card if the phone doesn’t support NFC. They can scan it with their phone camera.

> Move the card slowly to find the reader, then hold it still. Remove a thick or metal case or magnetic accessory. On Android, check that NFC is turned on in the phone’s settings. On iPhone, close the Camera app before trying again.
