# Share your digital business card without internet

> Use an offline vCard QR code and understand what it can share.

Share basic contact details without opening a website by using the offline QR code in Tapify. Set up your Tapify account while online before you need this feature.

**Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise.

## Turn on offline sharing

1. Open **Card** and tap your QR code to open **Share**.
2. Turn on **Share your card offline**.
3. Tap **Preview** and check the details that will be included.
4. Ask the other person to scan the QR code with their phone camera.
5. They can save the contact details their phone reads from the code.

The offline QR code contains a vCard, a standard contact file, directly. It does not open your full digital business card.

## What changes in offline mode

The offline QR shares basic contact fields. It does not include images, your full card design, the online contact form, or analytics. A saved copy of your details does not receive later changes automatically.

Your NFC card, printed online QR code, and normal card link still open the online digital business card. The receiving phone needs internet access for those methods. Turning on offline sharing does not rewrite your physical NFC card.

## Return to online sharing

Open **Share** and turn off **Share your card offline**. The QR code once again opens your online digital business card, where people can view your current details and share theirs back.
