# Add a Tapify widget

> Show your QR code on your Home Screen so it’s ready to share.

The Tapify widget displays your card’s QR code on your phone’s Home Screen. Someone can scan it directly, or you can tap the widget to open Tapify.

Open Tapify and check your card before adding the widget.

## Add the widget

> **1. Open the widget gallery**

> Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen, then open the widget gallery.

> **2. Choose Tapify**
>
> Search for **Tapify** and choose a widget size.

> **3. Place your widget**
>
> Tap **Add Widget** and position it where you want.

> Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen and select **Widgets**.

> **2. Choose Tapify**

> Find the Tapify QR widget.

> Touch and hold the widget, then drag it onto your Home Screen. The exact steps can vary by phone.

> The widget’s QR code opens your online card. The receiving phone needs internet access. To share basic details without internet, use [Share offline](https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/share-offline.md) in the app.

## Other quick access options

> * **Lock Screen and Dynamic Island:** In Tapify, open **Card → More → Settings → Preferences** and turn on **Start Live Activity Automatically**. Open Tapify to start it. Dynamic Island is available on supported iPhones.
> * **Control Center:** Open the controls gallery, search for **Tapify**, and add **Share Card**, **Scan Contact**, or **Add Contact**.

> Open **Card → More → Settings → Preferences** and turn on **Show QR Automatically** to keep your QR code in a notification. Allow notifications when asked.

> Open Tapify while online and check your card. Return to the Home Screen. If the widget still shows old details, remove it and add it again.
