# Authentication Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/authentication Create and use an API key for your Tapify Teams workspace. Every request needs an API key. The key tells Tapify which workspace the request can access. Teams Connect is required. Only workspace owners and admins can create or delete API keys. A personal Pro subscription does not enable workspace API access. ## Create an API key 1. Log in to the [Tapify dashboard](https://tapify.app/login). 2. Confirm that the correct workspace is selected. 3. Open **Settings → API keys**. 4. Select **Create API key**. 5. Give the key a clear name, such as `HubSpot sync` or `Internal CRM`. 6. Copy and store the key securely. Treat an API key like a password. The complete key is shown only once. Never place it in a mobile app, browser code, public repository, screenshot, or support message. ## Authenticate a request Send the key as a bearer token in the `Authorization` header: ```http theme={null} Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY ``` For example: ```bash theme={null} curl https://tapify.app/api/v1/me \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" ``` The bearer header is recommended. Tapify also accepts the `X-API-Key` header: ```http theme={null} X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY ``` ## Invalid keys A missing, incorrect, or deleted key returns `401 Unauthorized`: ```json theme={null} { "error": { "code": "invalid_api_key", "message": "API key is invalid or revoked." } } ``` Check that the request contains the complete key without extra spaces. If the key was deleted, create a new one. ## Delete an API key Delete a key when an integration no longer needs it or when the key may have been exposed: 1. Open **Settings → API keys**. 2. Find the key by its name or visible prefix. 3. Select **Delete** and confirm. Requests using the key stop working immediately. If an integration must keep running, connect it with a new key before deleting the old one. # Create contact Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/contacts/create api-reference/openapi.json POST /contacts Add a contact to a Tapify Teams workspace. Send at least the contact’s full name. All other fields are optional. If you include an email address, Tapify uses it to prevent duplicates. When the email matches an existing contact, Tapify updates that contact with the fields you send and leaves their other details unchanged. Without an email address, each request creates a new contact. To assign the contact to a team member, set `connectedWithProfileId` to that member’s `id`. The member must belong to the same workspace. Creating or assigning a contact through the API does not send email. `message` and `captureMethod` are set by Tapify and cannot be changed through the API. Use `internalNote` for a private note that is visible only inside the workspace. # Delete contact Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/contacts/delete api-reference/openapi.json DELETE /contacts/{contactId} Permanently remove a contact from the workspace. After the contact is deleted, Tapify returns `204 No Content` with an empty response body. Deleting a contact cannot be undone. It does not remove copies that were previously exported or saved in another system. # Get contact Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/contacts/get api-reference/openapi.json GET /contacts/{contactId} Get one workspace contact and their saved details. Use the contact `id` returned by [List contacts](/api-reference/contacts/list) or [Create contact](/api-reference/contacts/create). The response includes their saved details, tags, private note, and assigned team member. # List contacts Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/contacts/list api-reference/openapi.json GET /contacts Get saved contacts from across a Tapify Teams workspace. Tapify returns saved contacts from newest to oldest. Scan drafts are included only after someone saves them. The response can contain contacts from the entire workspace, including messages and private notes. Keep the API key and any exported contact data secure. Each request returns up to 100 contacts. Use `limit` and `offset` to move through a longer list. See [Pagination](/api-reference/requests#pagination) for an example. # Update contact Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/contacts/update api-reference/openapi.json PATCH /contacts/{contactId} Change selected details for a workspace contact. Send only the fields you want to change. To clear an optional text field, send `null` or an empty string. `message` and `captureMethod` are set by Tapify and cannot be changed through the API. Use `internalNote` for a private workspace note. Sending `tags` replaces the contact’s complete tag list. Include every tag you want to keep, or send an empty array to remove them all. # API overview Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/introduction Connect your Tapify Teams workspace with your own systems. The Tapify API lets you connect a Tapify Teams workspace to a CRM, company directory, or internal tool. You can use it to: * Keep team members and their digital business cards up to date * Send collected contacts to your CRM * Add or update contacts from another system * Check which workspace an integration is connected to The API is available with **Tapify Teams Connect**. Every API key is connected to one workspace and can access only the data in that workspace. ## Base URL Start every request with this URL: ```text theme={null} https://tapify.app/api/v1 ``` Add the endpoint path you want to use, such as `/contacts`. Requests and responses use JSON over HTTPS. ## Make your first request Log in to the [Tapify dashboard](https://tapify.app/login), open **Settings → API keys**, and create a key. Send the key in the `Authorization` header. ```http theme={null} Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY ``` Make a request to `/me`: ```bash theme={null} curl https://tapify.app/api/v1/me \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" ``` Tapify returns the workspace that the key can access: ```json theme={null} { "data": { "apiKeyId": "4c69681a-02d9-4c73-8c21-6d4489c0879f", "workspace": { "id": "9df81bd4-3d76-42cc-9518-a019ea75a221", "name": "Acme", "domain": "card.acme.com" } } } ``` If the workspace name and ID are correct, the connection is ready. Changes made through the API appear in the same workspace used by your team. Creating or removing team members can also change your billed member count. ## Continue Create an API key and add it to your requests. Manage team members and their digital business cards. Read and manage contacts collected by your team. Understand pagination, errors, and rate limits. # Requests and responses Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/requests Understand JSON responses, pagination, errors, and rate limits. Tapify uses JSON for request bodies and responses. The HTTP status tells you whether a request succeeded. ## Send JSON For `POST` and `PATCH` requests, send a JSON object and include this header: ```http theme={null} Content-Type: application/json ``` ```bash theme={null} curl https://tapify.app/api/v1/contacts \ --request POST \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \ --header "Content-Type: application/json" \ --data '{ "fullName": "Mina Park", "email": "mina@example.com" }' ``` ## Successful responses Tapify returns a single item inside `data`: ```json theme={null} { "data": { "id": "f08f7c49-8f1e-42ac-b5ac-e0d6bd37d938" } } ``` Deleting an item returns `204 No Content` without a response body. ## Pagination List endpoints return up to 100 items at a time. Use `limit` and `offset` to move through longer lists: | Parameter | Description | Default | | --------- | ---------------------------------------------- | ------- | | `limit` | Number of items to return, from 1 to 100 | `100` | | `offset` | Number of items to skip before the list starts | `0` | For example: ```bash theme={null} curl "https://tapify.app/api/v1/contacts?limit=25&offset=0" \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" ``` The response shows your current position and whether more items are available: ```json theme={null} { "data": [], "pagination": { "limit": 25, "offset": 0, "total": 74, "hasMore": true } } ``` To get the next page, increase `offset` by the number of items you received. Continue while `hasMore` is `true`. ## Errors When a request fails, Tapify returns a short error code and a readable message: ```json theme={null} { "error": { "code": "bad_request", "message": "fullName is required." } } ``` | Status | Meaning | | --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | | `400 Bad Request` | A required field is missing or a value is invalid. | | `401 Unauthorized` | The API key is missing, incorrect, or deleted. | | `402 Payment Required` | The workspace needs an active Teams subscription. | | `404 Not Found` | The requested item does not exist in this workspace. | | `409 Conflict` | The email address is already used by another Tapify member. | | `413 Payload Too Large` | The JSON request is larger than 256 KB. | | `429 Too Many Requests` | Too many requests were sent in a short period. | | `500 Internal Server Error` | Tapify could not complete the request. | ## Rate limits The limits below apply to each API key: * Up to 120 read requests per minute * Up to 30 write requests per minute When a limit is reached, Tapify returns `429 Too Many Requests`. The `Retry-After` response header shows how many seconds to wait before trying again. ## Dates and empty values * Dates use ISO 8601, such as `2026-07-28T09:30:00.000Z`. * IDs are strings and should be stored without modification. * Optional fields that have no value are usually returned as `null`. # Create team member Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/team-members/create api-reference/openapi.json POST /team-members Add a member and prepare their digital business card. Send the member’s first name, last name, and work email. Tapify creates their digital business card and adds them with the status `not_invited` (**Not invited**). If the email already belongs to a member in this workspace, Tapify returns the existing member unchanged. The response contains `created: false`. Use [Update team member](/api-reference/team-members/update) to change their details. The API does not send invitations. When the digital business card is ready, open **Team** in the Tapify dashboard and send the invitation. Creating a new member can increase the workspace’s billed member count. See [Billing and trial](/teams/settings/billing) before syncing a large directory. # Delete team member Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/team-members/delete api-reference/openapi.json DELETE /team-members/{memberId} Permanently remove a member from the workspace. After the member is deleted, Tapify returns `204 No Content` with an empty response body. Deleting a member permanently removes their workspace access and digital business card. This cannot be undone. It can also reduce the workspace’s billed member count. # Get team member Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/team-members/get api-reference/openapi.json GET /team-members/{memberId} Get one member and their digital business card details. Use the member `id` returned by [List team members](/api-reference/team-members/list) or [Create team member](/api-reference/team-members/create). The response includes their digital business card details and current invitation status. # List team members Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/team-members/list api-reference/openapi.json GET /team-members Get the members in a Tapify Teams workspace. Tapify returns team members from newest to oldest. Each request returns up to 100 members. Use `limit` and `offset` to move through a longer list. See [Pagination](/api-reference/requests#pagination) for an example. # Update team member Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/team-members/update api-reference/openapi.json PATCH /team-members/{memberId} Change selected details for an existing member. Send only the fields you want to change. The same digital business card link updates automatically. A member’s login email cannot be changed through this endpoint. Sending `contactDetails` replaces the member’s complete list of contact details. Include every detail you want to keep, or send an empty array to remove them all. # Get workspace Source: https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/workspace/get api-reference/openapi.json GET /me Check which Tapify Teams workspace an API key belongs to. Use this as your first request. It confirms that the API key works and shows which workspace it can access. An API key cannot switch between workspaces. Create a separate key in each workspace that an integration needs to access. # Understand your digital business card analytics Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/analytics See how people view, save, and respond to your Tapify digital business card, and understand what each activity metric means. Analytics helps you understand what happens after you share your digital business card. It is included with Tapify Pro and Teams Connect. Ask your admin about access on a team-managed account. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Open analytics 1. Open the **Card** tab. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Analytics**. 4. Choose **Week**, **2 Weeks**, **Month**, or **Year**. ## What each metric means * **Card Views** counts visits to your digital business card. * **Contacts** counts contacts created through your digital business card. * **Downloads** counts taps to save your contact details. The selected date range changes both the totals and the chart. **Year** groups activity by month; the shorter ranges show activity by day. Analytics reports actions, not unique people. The same person may view your digital business card more than once. ## When no activity appears New digital business cards show **No analytics yet** until Tapify records a view, contact, or download. Share yours, then check again later. If you expect existing activity: * Confirm that you are viewing the correct Tapify account. * Try a longer date range. * Check your internet connection. * Close and reopen Analytics. Analytics begins with activity associated with your current digital business card. It cannot report what someone does after they save a copy of your details to their own phone. # Edit your digital business card Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/edit-customize Update your details, contact fields, images, and appearance. Your digital business card should contain only the information you are comfortable sharing. You can update it at any time without changing its link or QR code. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Open the editor 1. Open the **Card** tab. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Edit Card**. The editor is divided into **Personal**, **Fields**, and **Branding**. ## Personal Use **Personal** to update: * Profile photo * First and last name * Job title * Department * Company * About title and description To change your photo, tap **Change photo**, choose an image, and adjust the crop. ## Fields Use **Fields** to add the ways people can contact you. You can add more than one item of each type: * Phone numbers * Email addresses * Websites * Addresses * Social links Add a label such as *Work*, *Mobile*, or *Company* when it helps someone understand which detail to use. To update an existing field, select it and make your changes. On iPhone, you can also swipe a field to edit or delete it. ## Branding Use **Branding** to change the appearance of your digital business card: * Banner image * Brand color * Light or dark theme * Design style * Font * Tapify branding Some colors, design styles, fonts, and the option to remove Tapify branding require Tapify Pro. You can still add a banner and use the standard appearance on the Free plan. ## Save your changes Tap **Save** when you finish. Open the preview to check the result. Your digital business card updates automatically when you make changes. ## Team-managed digital business cards Your workspace may lock individual fields or the entire **Branding** section. A lock means the value is controlled by your team. You can continue editing any personal fields that your administrator has made available. If a managed value is incorrect, contact your workspace administrator. ## Keep it clear * Use a recent, recognizable profile photo. * Put the contact method you prefer near the top. * Add only links you still use. * Keep the About section short enough to scan. * Check the preview after changing the theme or brand color. Next, learn how to [share your digital business card](/individual/card/share). # Exchange contact details Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/exchange-details Let someone share their details back and find the saved contact in Tapify. Sharing your digital business card does not automatically collect the other person's details. They choose what to send through the contact form. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. The recipient can open your card and use the form without installing Tapify or creating an account. ## Ask someone to share their details 1. Share your digital business card by link, QR code, Wallet, or NFC business card. 2. Ask the recipient to select **Exchange contact details**. 3. They enter their name and the contact details they want to share. 4. They can add a job title, company, or message. 5. They select **Share details**. 6. After confirmation, they can select **Save contact** to save your details. Opening your card and submitting the form require an internet connection. ## Find the contact Open **Contacts** in Tapify and look for the person's name. Their submitted message is separate from the internal note you add later. For teams with Connect, owners and admins can also review the contact in the [shared Contacts dashboard](/teams/contacts/manage). The contact form is included with Free, Pro, Teams Core, and Teams Connect. Form submissions do not use your scan allowance. ## If no contact appears * Check that the recipient submitted the form and saw confirmation. * Reconnect your phone and reopen Tapify. * Confirm that you shared the intended digital business card. * For the shared dashboard, check the selected team, plan, and filters. An offline vCard QR code shares basic details directly. It does not include the online contact form. See [Share without internet](/individual/card/share-offline). # Activate and use your NFC card Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/nfc Order a Tapify NFC Card and use it to share your digital business card. A Tapify NFC Card opens your digital business card when someone taps it with a compatible phone. The printed QR code provides another way to open it. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Order a Tapify NFC Card 1. Open the **Card** tab. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Order NFC Card**. 4. Complete your order in the page that opens. You can also order from [tapify.app/nfc-business-card/order](https://tapify.app/nfc-business-card). ## Activate your Tapify NFC Card Create your Tapify account before activating the card. When your Tapify NFC Card arrives: 1. Scan the QR code printed on the card. 2. Enter the email address connected to your Tapify account. 3. Follow the confirmation to activate the card with your account. After activation, the Tapify NFC Card opens your digital business card. ## If activation does not work * If Tapify cannot find your account, create an account first or check that you entered the exact email address used to sign in. * If the card is already assigned, scan it to check which digital business card opens. Contact [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) if it belongs to the wrong account or you need help with reassignment. ## Share with NFC 1. Ask the other person to wake their phone. 2. Hold your Tapify NFC Card close to the phone’s NFC reader. 3. Wait for a notification to appear. 4. Ask them to tap the notification to open your digital business card. On most iPhones, the NFC reader is near the top of the phone. Its position varies on Android devices and is often near the center or upper back. The other person does not need the Tapify app. ## Share with the printed QR code Ask the other person to open their camera and scan the QR code printed on the Tapify NFC Card. They can then open your digital business card in their browser. ## If NFC does not respond * Move the Tapify NFC Card slowly around the top or back of the phone. * Remove a thick or metal phone case. * Keep the Tapify NFC Card still for a moment. * Make sure the phone is unlocked. * On Android, check that NFC is available and turned on. * Use the printed QR code if the phone does not support NFC. Editing your digital business card does not require a new Tapify NFC Card. The Tapify NFC Card continues to open the same link, which shows your current details. For order or production questions, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). # Share your digital business card Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/share Choose how to share your digital business card in person or remotely. People can open your digital business card in a browser. They do not need the Tapify app. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Open sharing options 1. Open the **Card** tab. 2. Tap your QR code. From **Share**, you can: * Show your QR code in person * Send it by message * Send it by email * Copy its link * Use your phone’s share menu ## Choose how to share | Method | Best for | | -------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- | | QR code | Sharing face to face from the Tapify app | | [Tapify NFC Card](/individual/card/nfc) | Sharing face to face with NFC | | [Apple or Google Wallet](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) | Keeping your QR code in your phone’s Wallet app | | [Tapify widget](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) | Opening your QR code from the Home Screen | | [Live Activity](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) | Showing your QR code on an iPhone Lock Screen or Dynamic Island | | Message, email, or link | Sharing when you are not together | ## Share in person ### Show your QR code Show the QR code on your screen and ask the other person to scan it with their phone camera. They can open your digital business card and save the details you have chosen to share. For easier scanning: * Increase your screen brightness. * Keep the phone steady. * Avoid glare across the QR code. * Leave a little space between the camera and your screen. ### Use a Tapify NFC Card A Tapify NFC Card opens your digital business card with a tap. Ask the other person to wake their phone, then hold the Tapify NFC Card near its NFC reader. They can also scan the QR code printed on the Tapify NFC Card. See [Tapify NFC Card](/individual/card/nfc) for ordering, placement, and troubleshooting. ### Use Wallet or a shortcut Wallet cards and phone shortcuts help you reach your QR code faster: * Add a Wallet card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. * Add the Tapify widget to your iPhone or Android Home Screen. * On iPhone, show a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. * On Android, keep the QR code available in a notification. See [Set up quick access](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) for instructions. ## Send a link In **Share**, choose the option that fits the conversation: * **Message your card** opens a message with a link to your digital business card. * **Email your card** prepares an email with the link. * **Copy your card link** copies the link so you can paste it elsewhere. * **Send another way** opens the system share menu. ## What the other person can do The other person can view your digital business card and use its links without a Tapify account. They can also send their details back to you: 1. Select **Exchange contact details**. 2. Enter their name and the details they want to share. 3. Add a job title, company, or message if needed. 4. Select **Share details** to submit. Their information appears as a new contact in your **Contacts** tab. After submitting, they can select **Save contact** to save your details to their phone. Opening the card alone does not collect their details. See [Exchange contact details](/individual/card/exchange-details). ## Share without internet An offline vCard QR code shares basic contact details directly, without loading a website. It does not include the online contact form, images, analytics, or automatic updates to saved copies. Follow [Share your digital business card without internet](/individual/card/share-offline) to turn it on, preview the details, and switch back afterward. ## Save your QR code On iPhone, select **Download QR code** in **Share**. Allow Tapify to add the image to Photos when asked. Android does not currently include a QR download button. You can use the Tapify Home Screen widget or QR notification for quick access instead. ## If your QR code does not scan Confirm that the entire code is visible, clean the other phone’s camera lens, and try a different distance. If you selected offline sharing, use **Preview** to confirm that the QR contains your details. # Share your digital business card without internet Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/share-offline Use an offline vCard QR code and understand what it can share. Share basic contact details without opening a website by using the offline QR code in Tapify. Set up your Tapify account while online before you need this feature. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Turn on offline sharing 1. Open **Card** and tap your QR code to open **Share**. 2. Turn on **Share your card offline**. 3. Tap **Preview** and check the details that will be included. 4. Ask the other person to scan the QR code with their phone camera. 5. They can save the contact details their phone reads from the code. The offline QR code contains a vCard, a standard contact file, directly. It does not open your full digital business card. ## What changes in offline mode The offline QR shares basic contact fields. It does not include images, your full card design, the online contact form, or analytics. A saved copy of your details does not receive later changes automatically. Your NFC card, printed online QR code, and normal card link still open the online digital business card. The receiving phone needs internet access for those methods. Turning on offline sharing does not rewrite your physical NFC card. ## Return to online sharing Open **Share** and turn off **Share your card offline**. The QR code once again opens your online digital business card, where people can view your current details and share theirs back. See [Share your digital business card](/individual/card/share) for all sharing methods. # Add your card to Wallet and phone shortcuts Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/card/wallet-quick-access Add your QR code to Wallet, the Home Screen, the Lock Screen, or another shortcut. Choose your phone below, then set up the shortcuts you want to use. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Add a Wallet card to Apple Wallet 1. Open **Card** and tap your QR code. 2. Select **Add to Apple Wallet**. 3. Check the preview. 4. Tap **Add to Apple Wallet**, then confirm in the Apple Wallet sheet. Adding the standard Wallet card is available without Pro. Customizing its colors and images requires Tapify Pro. For a team-managed digital business card, your workspace may control the branding. To share from Apple Wallet, open the Wallet card and let the other person scan its QR code. ## Add a Home Screen widget 1. In Tapify, open **Share → Add to homescreen** to view the guide. 2. Touch and hold an empty area on your iPhone Home Screen. 3. Tap **+** and find **Tapify**. 4. Choose a QR widget size and tap **Add Widget**. 5. Place the widget where you want it. Tapping the widget opens Tapify’s sharing screen. ## Show your QR code on the Lock Screen Tapify can start a Live Activity when you open the app: 1. Open **Card → More → Settings**. 2. Open **Preferences**. 3. Turn on **Start Live Activity Automatically**. Your QR code can then appear on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, in the Dynamic Island. Turn the setting off to stop automatic Live Activities. ## Add Tapify to Control Center Tapify provides controls for **Scan Contact**, **Add Contact**, and **Share Card**. 1. Open Control Center. 2. Touch and hold an empty area, then choose to add a control. 3. Search for **Tapify**. 4. Add the controls you want. ## Add a Wallet card to Google Wallet 1. Open **Card** and tap your QR code. 2. Select **Add to Google Wallet**. 3. Follow the Google Wallet prompts. To share, open the Wallet card in Google Wallet and let the other person scan its QR code. ## Add a Home Screen widget 1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen. 2. Select **Widgets**. 3. Find **Tapify**. 4. Touch and hold the Tapify QR widget, then place it on your Home Screen. The exact wording can vary by phone manufacturer. ## Show your QR code in a notification 1. Open **Card → More → Settings**. 2. Open **Preferences**. 3. Turn on **Show QR Automatically**. 4. Allow notifications if Android asks. Tapify will keep a QR notification available after you open the app. Turn the preference off to remove it. ## If a Wallet card or widget looks out of date Open Tapify while connected to the internet and check your digital business card first. If the Wallet card or shortcut still does not update, remove it from Wallet or your Home Screen and add it again. For more fixes, see [Troubleshooting](/individual/help/troubleshooting). # Join your team in the Tapify app Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/getting-started/join-team Activate your team-managed digital business card and understand which settings your admin controls. Use this guide if your organization has invited you to Tapify. Your admin prepares your digital business card; you activate it in the iPhone or Android app. **Applies to:** Invited team members using Tapify on iPhone or Android. ## Activate your account 1. Open your Tapify invitation and check the email address it was sent to. 2. Install Tapify from the [download page](https://tapify.app/download). 3. Open the app and sign in with that exact email address. 4. If you sign in by email, enter the newest 6-digit verification code. 5. Open **Card** and check your name, company, and contact details. See [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup) for the sign-in options on each platform. ## Check your card before sharing Open the card preview and check your details. Then [add your card to Wallet or a shortcut](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) and [test sharing](/individual/card/share). If your team supplied an NFC business card, follow [Activate your NFC card](/individual/card/nfc). ## Understand managed settings Your admin controls the team's brand kit and can limit changes to your photo or contact fields. A locked field is managed by the team. Ask your admin to correct information you cannot edit. The app may show **Team** under **Settings → Account → Subscription status**. Ask your admin to check **Settings → Billing** in the web dashboard for the team's Core or Connect plan. The mobile Team label does not identify the plan. Connect includes Pro features for members. Team billing is managed by an owner or admin. Buying personal Pro does not change the team's plan or unlock a managed field. ## If the invitation does not work Ask your admin to confirm that your member record exists and resend the invitation. Use the invited email, check spam folders, and request a new code if needed. Do not create another account with a different address to work around an invitation problem. A team-member invitation does not grant web dashboard access. Your admin sends a separate admin invitation when you need to manage the team. # Do recipients need the Tapify app? Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/getting-started/receiving-a-card Understand what someone can do when you share your card with them. People do not need a Tapify account or app to open your digital business card, save your contact details, or send their details back through its online contact form. **Applies to:** Anyone receiving or sharing a Tapify digital business card. ## Open a digital business card Ask the recipient to scan your QR code, tap your NFC business card with a compatible phone, or open your card link. Your digital business card opens in their browser. Their phone needs internet access for the online card. The recipient can use the contact buttons and links you have published. They choose whether to save your details in their phone’s Contacts app. ## Receive their details back The recipient selects **Exchange contact details**, enters the information they want to share, and submits the form. Opening your card alone does not collect their name, email, or phone number. The saved contact appears in your **Contacts** tab. See [Exchange contact details](/individual/card/exchange-details). ## Use Tapify yourself You need a Tapify account to create and manage your own digital business card. An NFC card is optional. You can use Free to share by QR code, link, and Wallet without buying a physical card. See [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup), or [Share without internet](/individual/card/share-offline) when the recipient cannot get online. # Sign in and set up Tapify Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/getting-started/setup Sign in, create your digital business card, or open one managed by your team. Install Tapify from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in with the account you want to use for your digital business card. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. If your organization invited you, follow [Join your team](/individual/getting-started/join-team) and use the invited email address. ## Before you start Tapify requires: * iOS 18 or later on iPhone * Android 9 or later on Android * An internet connection during sign-in and initial setup ## Sign in 1. Open Tapify. 2. Tap **Get started**. 3. Choose a sign-in method. Continue with Apple, Google, or email. Continue with Google or email. If you continue with email: 1. Enter your email address. 2. Open the email from Tapify. 3. Return to Tapify and enter the 6-digit code. You do not need a password. If the code does not work, request a new one and enter the most recent code. ## Set up a personal digital business card When you create a personal account, Tapify asks for the information needed to prepare your digital business card: 1. Enter your name. 2. Add your job title and company, if relevant. 3. Add a profile photo, or skip this step. 4. Add the email address and phone number you want to share. 5. Review your details and finish setup. You can skip optional information and add it later from **Card → More → Edit Card**. Your account email is used to sign in. It appears on your digital business card only when you add it as a contact field. ## Open a team-managed digital business card If your organization invited you to Tapify, sign in with the exact email address that received the invitation. Tapify will connect you to your workspace and open the digital business card created for you. Your team may control: * Company information * Branding * Your profile photo * Contact details Locked fields show that they are managed by your workspace. If Tapify cannot find your invitation or your digital business card is not ready, contact your workspace administrator. ## If you cannot sign in * Check that you are using the same Apple, Google, or email account as before. * With email sign-in, use the newest code you received. * Check your spam or junk folder for the email from Tapify. * Confirm that your device is online. * For a team account, confirm the invited email address with your administrator. For more help, see [Troubleshooting](/individual/help/troubleshooting). # My digital business card changes are not showing Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/card-not-updating Check saved changes, the online card, and copies saved on other devices. Use these checks when the digital business card opened by your link or QR code shows old information. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check 1. Open **Card → More → Edit Card** and confirm the information was saved. 2. Check the preview in Tapify. 3. Confirm that your phone is online. 4. Close and reopen your digital business card. An old screenshot, downloaded QR image in offline mode, or contact already saved on another phone does not update automatically. The online QR code and link to your digital business card continue to show the latest version. If a field is locked, it is managed by your workspace. ## More help See [Edit your digital business card](/individual/card/edit-customize) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # My contacts are not syncing to my phone Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/contacts-not-syncing Check contact sync, permission, and platform differences. Use these checks when a saved Tapify contact is missing from Apple Contacts or your Android Contacts app. Sync copies details from Tapify to your phone only. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check 1. Open **Settings → Preferences** in Tapify. 2. Confirm that contact sync is on. 3. Allow Contacts access in your phone’s system settings. 4. Open or edit the contact in Tapify and save it again. Sync moves information from Tapify to your phone, not the other way around. Deleting a Tapify contact does not delete the phone contact, and turning sync off does not remove earlier copies. On Android, contacts that existed before sync was enabled may need to be opened and saved again. ## More help See [Sync contacts to your phone](/individual/scan-contacts/sync) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Why can’t I edit a field on my digital business card? Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/locked-fields Understand team-managed fields and the difference between a lock and a Pro feature. A lock on a team-managed digital business card means your organization controls that field. Buying personal Pro does not unlock a field managed by your team. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## When you are a team member Open **Card → More → Edit Card**. You can change fields that your admin has made editable. For a locked photo, contact detail, or brand setting, ask your admin to make the correction. Team members use the same iPhone or Android app as personal users. Your team may manage the card’s branding and company information centrally. ## When you are an admin Open the member under **Team** to correct their details. For shared branding, open the correct **Brand kit**. Check the avatar and contact-detail editing controls when deciding which changes members can make themselves, then publish the brand kit. See [Set up your brand kit](/teams/brand-kit/profile) and [Manage team members](/teams/members/manage). ## When you have a personal account Some appearance choices require Pro. An upgrade prompt for a personal feature is different from a team-managed lock. Check **Settings → Account → Subscription status** and compare [Free and Pro](/individual/pro-account/plans). If your account unexpectedly shows **Team**, contact support with your account email before creating another account. # My NFC card is not working Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/nfc-not-working Fix a card that does not respond when tapped and check the printed QR code. If tapping your Tapify NFC card does not produce a notification, first test the printed QR code with the receiving phone’s camera. This helps distinguish an NFC reading problem from a card link or activation problem. **Applies to:** Anyone using a Tapify NFC Card, including individuals, team members, and recipients. ## Check the receiving phone 1. Wake and unlock the phone. 2. On Android, check that the phone supports NFC and that NFC is turned on. 3. Hold the card still near the NFC reader. On most iPhones it is near the top; on Android it is often near the center or upper back. 4. Remove a thick or metal case, or a magnetic accessory, if it interferes with the tap. 5. Try the card with another compatible phone. The receiving phone does not need Tapify installed. NFC means near-field communication: the chip shares the card link when it is close to the phone. The card does not need a battery. Opening the online digital business card still requires internet access. ## Use the printed QR code The QR code on the physical card is an alternative to NFC. Ask the recipient to scan it with their camera and open the link. If the link asks you to activate the card, follow [Activate and use your NFC card](/individual/card/nfc). If a team card opens the wrong person, an admin can [correct its assignment](/teams/help/nfc-wrong-person). ## If the problem continues If NFC still fails after these checks, or neither NFC nor QR opens your card, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with the card code, your order number if available, the phone model, and what happens when you scan the printed QR code. Do not send account verification codes. # Tapify says I am offline Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/offline Check your connection and understand saved copies of your card and contacts. Tapify can show a saved copy of your digital business card or contacts when it cannot refresh. A saved copy may not contain your latest changes. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check Tapify may show a saved copy of your digital business card or contacts when it cannot refresh them. Check Wi-Fi or mobile data, try another network, and try again. If you use a company-managed device or network, ask your IT team to check the connection. Avoid editing important information until the app reconnects. ## More help See [Share your digital business card without internet](/individual/card/share-offline) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Privacy and data Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/privacy-data Understand what you share, how contact tools use data, and what controls are available. You decide which details appear on your digital business card and which suggestions are added to your contacts. This page explains the main data choices in the mobile app. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. For complete legal information, read the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy). ## Your digital business card Anyone with the link or QR code can view the information you place on your digital business card. Before sharing it, review your contact details, social links, About section, and images. Removing information updates your digital business card. It does not remove copies that someone already saved, downloaded, or photographed. When you use **Share your card offline**, the QR code contains basic contact details directly. Only use offline sharing when you are comfortable placing those details in the QR code. ## Scanned contacts When you scan a paper card or badge, Tapify processes the captured image to identify visible professional contact details. When you scan a supported QR code, Tapify reads the contact data or public page linked by that code. The extracted information is shown as a review draft. You can edit it before saving. Closing the review without finishing removes the draft instead of adding it to your contacts. Check that you have an appropriate reason to store and use another person’s details. Do not scan private documents or unrelated personal information. ## Contact enrichment Enrichment uses the details already on a contact to look for matching information in public professional sources. It may suggest a job title, company, business email, website, LinkedIn profile, or business address. See the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy) for information about data processing and enrichment providers. You choose which suggestions to apply. If a match is uncertain, leave it unselected or correct the contact before trying again. ## Notes and tags Internal notes and tags are stored with the contact in Tapify. They are not shown to that person on your digital business card. A message submitted by the contact is shown separately from your internal note. For team accounts, contact information may belong to and be managed by the workspace. Follow your organization’s policy when recording notes or using tags. ## Phone contact sync Contact sync is optional. When enabled, Tapify copies supported contact details to the Contacts app on your phone. * The sync runs from Tapify to the phone. * Turning it off stops later copies but leaves existing phone contacts in place. * Deleting a contact from Tapify does not remove the phone copy. * Removing Contacts permission prevents further syncing. ## Account deletion and data requests Personal users can delete their account under **Settings → Account → Delete account**. Team-managed users should contact their workspace administrator. For access, correction, portability, restriction, or another privacy request, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) from the address connected to your account. Tapify may need to verify your identity. See [Delete your account](/individual/pro-account/delete-account) before removing a personal account. # I paid for Pro but the app shows Free Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/pro-not-showing Restore an active Pro purchase using the original store and Tapify accounts. Use these steps if you purchased Tapify Pro through Apple or Google Play but the Tapify app still shows Free. A Teams subscription is managed separately by your organization. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check 1. Check that Tapify is active under Apple or Google Play subscriptions. 2. Use the same store account that made the purchase. 3. Sign in to the correct Tapify account. 4. Open the Pro purchase screen and select **Restore**. 5. Restart Tapify. Team users should see **Team** under **Settings → Account → Subscription status**. ## More help See [Manage your Pro subscription](/individual/pro-account/subscription) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # My QR code does not scan Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/qr-not-scanning Make your Tapify QR code readable and choose another sharing method. Use these checks when another person cannot scan the QR code on your phone. This is different from scanning a paper business card into Tapify. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check * Show the complete QR code without covering its edges. * Increase the screen brightness. * Avoid glare and strong reflections. * Clean the scanning phone’s camera lens. * Try moving the phones slightly farther apart. * Check that the scanning phone can scan another QR code. When **Share your card offline** is on, tap **Preview** to confirm that the QR contains usable contact details. ## More help See [Share your digital business card](/individual/card/share) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # I cannot scan a business card, badge, or QR code Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/scan-not-working Fix camera access, unreadable scans, and scan allowance problems. Use these steps when the Tapify scanner cannot capture a contact. You can always add the details manually from Contacts instead. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check ## Camera access is off Open your phone’s system settings, find **Tapify**, and allow Camera access. Return to Tapify and try again. ## No contact details were found * Choose the correct mode: **Badge**, **Paper Card**, or **QR Code**. * Place the card on a plain background. * Keep all text inside the frame. * Use even lighting and avoid blur. * Scan the side that contains the person’s main details. Tapify needs a person’s name plus another useful detail to create a reliable contact. An unrelated QR link cannot be saved as a contact. ## I have no scans remaining The Free plan includes 10 saved scans. Failed scans and drafts you close do not count. Add the contact manually, or compare [Free and Pro](/individual/pro-account/plans). ## More help See [Scan cards, badges, and QR codes](/individual/scan-contacts/scan) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # I cannot sign in to the Tapify app Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/sign-in Get back into your Tapify account using the correct email or sign-in method. Use these steps when sign-in to the Tapify iPhone or Android app fails. Email sign-in uses a 6-digit code, not a password. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check * Use the same Apple, Google, or email account you used before. * When signing in by email, enter the newest 6-digit code. * Check spam or junk folders for the email from Tapify. * Request another code if the first one expired. * On Android, confirm that a Google Account is added to the device before using Google sign-in. * For a team account, sign in with the exact email address that was invited. If Tapify says an invitation is missing or your digital business card is not ready, contact your workspace administrator. ## More help See [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Fix a problem in the Tapify app Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/troubleshooting Find the right troubleshooting guide for your Tapify account. Do not share verification codes, API keys, or payment-card details. # My Wallet card, widget, or QR shortcut is not updating Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/help/wallet-not-updating Refresh your Wallet card and sharing shortcuts on iPhone or Android. Use these steps when the card in Wallet or a Tapify shortcut shows old details, is missing, or cannot be added. First check that your online digital business card is correct. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## What to check * Open Tapify while connected to the internet. * Confirm that your digital business card looks correct in the app. * Remove and add the Wallet card or widget again if needed. * On Android, allow notifications for **Show QR Automatically**. * On iPhone, turn **Start Live Activity Automatically** off and on again. If Apple Wallet cannot add the Wallet card, check that Wallet is available on the device. If Google Wallet does not open, install or update Google Wallet. ## More help See [Add your card to Wallet and phone shortcuts](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, phone model and system version, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Get to know the Tapify app Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/introduction Create your digital business card and keep track of the people you meet. Tapify gives you one digital business card and a place to keep the contacts you collect. You can use the mobile app on iPhone or Android. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Find your way around The app has three main areas: Edit and share your digital business card, and view its activity. Find and update the people you have saved in Tapify. Capture a paper card, event badge, or QR code. ## Your digital business card Your digital business card can include your name, work details, contact information, social links, profile photo, and a short introduction. When you update it, the same link and QR code continue to work. People do not need the Tapify app to view your digital business card or save your details. ## Your contacts Contacts you add, scan, or receive through your digital business card are kept in the **Contacts** tab. You can correct their details, add notes, organize them with tags, and sync them to your phone. Some contact tools, including enrichment and tags, require Tapify Pro. Teams Connect includes Pro features for members. For a managed account, ask your admin about your team’s plan. ## Personal and team accounts * With a **personal account**, you control your digital business card and subscription. * With a **team account**, your organization may manage your branding or lock some fields. Contact your workspace administrator when a field is locked or you need to change a managed account. Team members use the same Tapify mobile app as personal users. ## Start here Install Tapify and follow [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup). If your digital business card is ready, learn how to [share it](/individual/card/share). # Cancel your Tapify Pro subscription Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/pro-account/cancel-pro Stop renewal through Apple or Google Play while keeping your Tapify account. Cancel Tapify Pro through the store that processed the purchase. Deleting the app or your Tapify account does not cancel a subscription. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Cancel an Apple subscription 1. Open **Settings** on your iPhone. 2. Tap your name, then **Subscriptions**. 3. Select **Tapify**. 4. Select **Cancel Subscription** and confirm. 5. Check the expiry date shown by Apple. If Tapify is not listed, check the Apple Account used for the purchase. See [Apple’s subscription instructions](https://support.apple.com/118428). ## Cancel a Google Play subscription 1. Open **Google Play**. 2. Tap your profile picture. 3. Open **Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions**. 4. Select **Tapify**, then **Cancel subscription**. 5. Follow the prompts and check the expiry date. If Tapify is missing, switch to the Google Account that purchased it. See [Google Play’s subscription instructions](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481). ## After cancellation Use the access end date shown by the store. Your Tapify account and digital business card remain available, and you can continue on Free when Pro ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Trial access and refunds follow the store’s terms. A Teams plan is managed separately in the web dashboard. If your app shows **Team**, ask your admin about the team’s subscription. See [Cancel a Teams subscription](/teams/settings/cancel-subscription). # Delete your account Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/pro-account/delete-account Permanently delete a personal Tapify account and its data. You can delete a personal Tapify account from the mobile app. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. Deleting your account is different from canceling Tapify Pro. Cancel an active Apple or Google Play subscription separately to prevent another renewal. ## Can I keep using Pro after deleting my account? No. You cannot use Pro through a deleted Tapify account. An Apple or Google Play subscription can still keep charging until you cancel it separately. If you only want to stop paying for Pro, cancel the subscription and keep your account so you can continue using Free. ## Before deleting your account Check the following: * Save any contact information you still need. * [Cancel Tapify Pro](/individual/pro-account/cancel-pro), if active. * Remove your Tapify Wallet card from Apple or Google Wallet if you no longer want it there. * Remember that contacts already copied to your phone are not removed automatically. People who previously saved a copy of your contact details keep that copy. Tapify cannot remove information already stored on another person’s device. ## Delete a personal account 1. Open **Card**. 2. Tap the **More** button and select **Settings**. 3. Open **Account**. 4. Select **Delete account**. 5. Read the confirmation carefully. 6. Select **Delete Account** to confirm. Tapify signs you out after the request succeeds. The link to your digital business card will no longer provide access to the deleted account. For information about deletion and legal retention, read the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy). ## Team-managed accounts You cannot delete an account managed by a workspace. Contact your workspace administrator and ask them to remove you from the team. ## If you cannot access the app Email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) from the email address connected to your Tapify account. State that you want to delete the account. Tapify may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request. If the in-app deletion fails, check your connection and try once more before contacting support. # Free vs. Pro Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/pro-account/plans Compare the Tapify Free and Pro plans for individual accounts. Tapify Free includes the tools needed to create and share a digital business card. Tapify Pro adds more customization, contact tools, and reporting. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Plan comparison This comparison applies to personal Free and Pro accounts in the Tapify mobile app. | Feature | Free | Pro | | ------------------------------------------ | :------------: | :-------: | | Create and edit your digital business card | Included | Included | | Share by QR code, link, message, or email | Included | Included | | Standard Apple or Google Wallet card | Included | Included | | Home Screen widget and quick access | Included | Included | | Add and manage contacts | Included | Included | | Add notes to contacts | Included | Included | | Scan paper cards, badges, and QR codes | 10 saved scans | Unlimited | | Contact enrichment | Not included | Included | | Contact tags | Not included | Included | | Analytics | Not included | Included | | Custom brand color | Not included | Included | | Additional design styles and fonts | Not included | Included | | Remove Tapify branding | Not included | Included | | Customize an Apple Wallet card | Not included | Included | ## Free scan allowance A Free account includes 10 successfully saved scans. A scan counts after you review the result and tap **Done**. Failed scans and scans you close without saving do not count. Manual contacts and contacts received through your digital business card do not use the scan allowance. ## Team accounts Teams Core and Teams Connect are managed by your organization. Connect includes Pro features for members. Ask your admin to confirm the team’s plan and included features; the mobile **Team** status does not distinguish Core from Connect. A personal Pro subscription does not upgrade the team’s dashboard. See [Core and Connect plans](/teams/settings/plans). Your organization may still control the branding, company information, profile photo, or contact fields on your digital business card. A locked setting is managed by your workspace. ## Check your current plan 1. Open **Card**. 2. Tap the **More** button and select **Settings**. 3. Open **Account**. 4. Check **Subscription status**. The status shows **Free**, **Pro**, or **Team**. To subscribe, restore a purchase, or cancel Pro, see [Manage your Pro subscription](/individual/pro-account/subscription). # Account and app settings Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/pro-account/settings Check your account, change preferences, manage permissions, or contact support. Open **Card**, tap the **More** button, then select **Settings**. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Account Open **Account** to: * See your name and sign-in email * Open the digital business card editor * Check whether your account is Free, Pro, or Team * Sign out * Delete a personal account Your sign-in email cannot currently be changed in the mobile app. Contact [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) if you need help with it. Signing out keeps your account and data. You will need to sign in again to use Tapify. ## Preferences Open **Preferences** to change: * **Appearance:** follow the phone setting or use light or dark appearance * **Contact sync:** copy Tapify contacts to your phone * **Quick QR access:** start an iPhone Live Activity or show an Android QR notification automatically Turning off a preference does not delete your digital business card or contacts. ## Permissions Tapify asks for permission only when a related feature needs it. | Permission | Used for | | ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------ | | Camera | Scanning cards, badges, and QR codes | | Contacts | Copying Tapify contacts to the phone’s Contacts app | | Notifications | Showing Android QR and scan-progress notifications | | Photos | Saving your QR code on iPhone | | Microphone | Recording a contact note on supported iPhones | | Speech recognition | Turning a recorded note into text on supported iPhones | You can change these permissions in your phone’s system settings. A feature may stop working when its permission is turned off, but the rest of Tapify remains available. ## Team-managed accounts A team account may have fields and branding controlled by its workspace. Connect includes Pro features for members. Ask your admin to confirm your team’s plan; the mobile **Team** label does not distinguish Core from Connect. You can sign out of a team account, but you cannot delete it yourself. Ask your workspace administrator to remove or update the account. ## Support and policies From **Settings**, you can: * Select **Contact support** to email Tapify * Select **Request feature** to send product feedback * Open **Policies** to view the terms and privacy policy For common fixes, check [Troubleshooting](/individual/help/troubleshooting) before contacting support. # Manage your Pro subscription Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/pro-account/subscription Subscribe to Pro, restore a purchase, cancel renewal, or request a refund. Tapify Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The available plans and current prices appear before you confirm a purchase. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. The price shown in the app may differ from the price on the Tapify website because of local currency, regional pricing, and taxes such as VAT. Review the final price shown by Apple or Google before confirming your purchase. ## Upgrade to Pro 1. Open **Card**. 2. Tap the **More** button and select **Settings**. 3. Select **Upgrade to Pro**. 4. Choose an available plan. 5. Review the price, billing period, and trial terms. 6. Confirm the purchase with Apple or Google. When a trial is available to your store account, the purchase screen shows its length and renewal date. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through the store. ## Restore a purchase Use restore when you already purchased Pro but the app shows **Free**. 1. Open the Tapify Pro purchase screen. 2. Select **Restore** or **Restore purchases**. 3. Make sure the phone uses the same Apple Account or Google Account that made the purchase. Also sign in to the same Tapify account you used with the subscription. If no active purchase is found, check your store subscriptions before contacting support. ## Cancel your subscription Cancel Pro through the Apple or Google account that purchased it. Deleting Tapify or your Tapify account does not stop renewal. Follow [Cancel your Tapify Pro subscription](/individual/pro-account/cancel-pro) for the steps and how to check the access end date. ## Request a refund Refunds are handled by the store that processed the purchase. Eligibility depends on its policy. * For an iPhone purchase, use [Apple’s refund request](https://support.apple.com/en-us/106932). * For an Android purchase, review [Google Play’s refund policy](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund an earlier payment. ## Pro is not showing Use [I paid for Pro but the app shows Free](/individual/help/pro-not-showing) to check the purchase, store account, Tapify account, and restore process. Teams Connect includes Pro features for members. Ask your admin to confirm the team’s plan before buying a personal subscription. Personal Pro does not upgrade the team’s dashboard or unlock fields managed by your organization. # Enrich a contact’s details Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/scan-contacts/enrichment Find missing professional details and choose what to add to a contact. Contact enrichment checks public professional sources for useful details that are missing from a contact. It is included with Tapify Pro and Teams Connect. Ask your admin about access on a team-managed account. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Enrich a contact 1. Open **Contacts** and select a person. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Enrich contact**. 4. Wait while Tapify checks for additional details. 5. Review the suggestions. 6. Clear any suggestion you do not want to use. 7. Tap **Apply**. You can also select **Enrich** while reviewing a scan. ## Privacy and enrichment See the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy) for information about data processing and enrichment providers. When you select **Enrich**, Tapify uses the existing details on that contact to look for a match in public professional sources. You decide which suggestions to keep, and nothing is added until you select **Apply**. ## What enrichment may find Depending on what is publicly available, Tapify may suggest: * Job title * Company * Business email address * Website * LinkedIn profile * Business address Suggestions are selected for you at first, but nothing is added until you apply it. Tapify does not replace every contact field automatically. ## Improve the match Enrichment works best when the contact already has: * A full name * A company or company website * A work email address * A LinkedIn profile If Tapify cannot find a confident match, add a company or website and try again. Avoid applying a suggestion when you are not sure it belongs to the correct person. ## When nothing new is found This can mean: * The contact already contains the available details. * There is not enough information to identify the person. * No confident public match was found. * The source is temporarily unavailable. Check the existing contact, add another identifying detail, and try again later. Enrichment is intended for professional contact information. Review every suggestion before saving it. For an explanation of the data used by this feature, see [Privacy and data](/individual/help/privacy-data#contact-enrichment). # Manage your contacts Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/scan-contacts/manage Add, find, update, and delete contacts in Tapify. The **Contacts** tab keeps the people you add, scan, or receive through your digital business card in one place. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## How contacts are added A contact appears in Tapify when: * You add it manually. * You scan a paper business card, event badge, or QR code. * Someone selects **Exchange contact details** on your digital business card and submits their information. See [Share your digital business card](/individual/card/share#what-the-other-person-can-do) for how exchanging details works. ## Add a contact manually 1. Open **Contacts**. 2. Tap **+**. 3. Select **Add Contact**. 4. Add the details you have. 5. Tap **Save**. A name is the most useful starting point. You can also add a job title, company, mobile number, phone number, email address, website, LinkedIn profile, and address. To capture an existing card or badge instead, choose **Scan Contact**. ## Find a contact Use search at the top of **Contacts**. Tapify can match details such as the person’s name, company, job title, email address, or note. On iPhone, you can also select the filter button and choose one or more tags. Clear the selected tags to show all contacts again. ## View and contact someone Select a contact to see their saved details. When the required information is available, you can: * Call them * Send a message * Send an email * Open their website or LinkedIn profile * Open their address in Maps The contact also shows how it was added and when it was created. A message submitted through your digital business card appears separately from your internal note. ## Edit a contact 1. Open the contact. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Edit contact**. 4. Correct or add information. 5. Save your changes. If phone contact sync is enabled, Tapify also updates the matching contact on your phone. ## Delete a contact 1. Open the contact. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Delete contact**. 4. Confirm the deletion. On iPhone, you can also swipe a contact in the list and choose **Delete**. Deleting a contact from Tapify cannot be undone. If the contact was synced to your phone, the copy in your phone’s Contacts app is not deleted automatically. ## When you are offline Tapify can show contacts that were previously saved on the device. A message explains when the app is showing a saved copy because it cannot refresh. Connect to the internet before making important changes or loading contacts for the first time. See [Tags and notes](/individual/scan-contacts/tags-notes) for ways to add context to a contact. # Scan cards, badges, and QR codes Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/scan-contacts/scan Capture a contact, check the result, and save it to Tapify. Use the scanner to turn a paper business card, the visible details on an event badge, or a supported contact QR code into a Tapify contact. **Tapify cannot scan every event badge QR code:** a badge photo and the QR code printed on it are different sources. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Start a scan 1. Open Tapify and select **Scan**. 2. Allow camera access if asked. 3. Choose **Badge**, **Paper Card**, or **QR Code**. 4. Follow the guide on screen. For a badge or paper card, position it inside the frame and tap the shutter button. QR codes are detected automatically. Use the flashlight button when the card is too dark, but turn it off if it creates glare. ## What Tapify can scan ### Paper cards Tapify reads visible details such as a name, job title, company, phone number, email address, website, LinkedIn profile, and address. Place the card on a plain surface and keep all text inside the frame. For double-sided cards, scan the side with the person’s main contact details, then add anything missing during review. ### Event badges Use **Badge** for conference and event passes. Tapify looks for the attendee’s identity and professional details. Event names, booth numbers, access labels, and ticket information are not treated as contact information. ### Can Tapify scan every event badge QR code? No. An event badge QR code may contain only a ticket number, a registration code, or a link to an organizer’s private system. Tapify cannot turn that code into a contact unless it contains supported contact information or opens an accessible public profile. Tapify does not provide access to the organizer’s attendee database. When a badge QR is not supported, choose **Badge** and photograph the visible name and professional details instead. Review the result and add any missing details before saving. ### Supported QR codes Tapify can read: * vCard QR codes * LinkedIn profile QR codes * QR codes that open a digital business card or public profile page A QR code that only contains an unrelated link, payment request, ticket, or Wi-Fi password will not create a contact. ## Review the result After processing, Tapify opens a review screen. Before saving, you can: * **Edit** incorrect or missing information * Add a **Note** * **Enrich** the contact when your plan includes enrichment * Turn on **Send my card to…** when the contact has an email address The send-card option is off by default. Tapify sends a link to your digital business card only when you turn it on and save the contact. Tap **Done** to keep the contact. Closing the review without finishing discards the draft, and the scan does not count toward your allowance. ## Free scan allowance The Free plan includes 10 saved scans. A scan counts when you finish the review and save the contact. Failed scans and discarded drafts do not count. Tapify Pro and Teams Connect include unlimited scans. For a team-managed account, ask your admin to confirm your plan and allowance. You can see the number of free scans remaining at the top of the scanner. ## Get a clearer result * Use even lighting and avoid shadows. * Hold the phone directly above the card or badge. * Keep the text sharp and inside the frame. * Remove the card from a reflective sleeve. * Review names, email addresses, and phone numbers before saving. Scanned information can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain in control of what is saved. If a scan fails repeatedly, see [Troubleshooting](/individual/help/scan-not-working). # Sync contacts to your phone Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/scan-contacts/sync Copy Tapify contacts to Apple Contacts or your Android Contacts app. Contact sync keeps a copy of saved Tapify contacts in your phone’s Contacts app. Sync is optional and turned off by default. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. ## Turn on contact sync 1. Open **Card**. 2. Tap the **More** button and select **Settings**. 3. Open **Preferences**. 4. Turn on contact sync. 5. Allow Contacts access when asked. The setting is called **Sync with Apple Contacts**. When you turn it on, Tapify syncs contacts already in the app and keeps new or updated contacts in Apple Contacts. The setting is called **Sync with Contacts**. New contacts and contacts you update after enabling the setting are copied to your Contacts app. ## What is copied Tapify can copy the available name, job title, company, primary phone number, email address, address, website, LinkedIn profile, and internal note. When possible, Tapify updates an existing phone contact instead of creating another one. Matching checks the email address, phone number, and name. ## What sync does not do * Changes made only in your phone’s Contacts app do not return to Tapify. * Deleting a contact in Tapify does not delete the phone contact. * Turning sync off does not remove contacts already copied to your phone. * Tapify does not continuously replace every field in your phone contacts. Review possible matches when two people have the same name. Contact matching cannot always identify duplicates correctly. ## Turn sync off Return to **Settings → Preferences** and turn off the contact-sync setting. Your existing phone contacts remain in place, but Tapify stops copying later changes. ## If permission was denied Open your phone’s system settings, find **Tapify**, and allow Contacts access. Return to Tapify and enable sync again. If contacts still do not appear, see [Troubleshooting](/individual/help/contacts-not-syncing). # Organize contacts with tags and notes Source: https://docs.tapify.app/individual/scan-contacts/tags-notes Organize contacts with tags and keep internal follow-up notes. Tags help you group contacts. Notes give you a place to remember context, a next step, or what you discussed. **Applies to:** People using Tapify on iPhone or Android, including team members unless stated otherwise. Tags are included with Tapify Pro and Teams Connect. Notes are available on all plans. Ask your admin about access on a team-managed account. ## Add or edit a note 1. Open **Contacts** and select a person. 2. Select the note section, or tap **Note** while reviewing a scan. 3. Enter your note. 4. Tap **Done**. Keep notes short and useful. For example: * Where you met * What you discussed * What you promised to send * When to follow up Notes are internal. They are not shown on your digital business card or sent to the contact. On a team account, people with access to the contact may also see its notes. A **Submitted message** came from the contact through your digital business card. It is kept separate from the internal note you write. ## Record a note on iPhone On iOS 26 or later, the note editor includes **Record note**: 1. Open the note editor. 2. Tap **Record note**. 3. Speak clearly, then tap **Stop recording**. 4. Check the transcription and correct it if needed. 5. Tap **Done**. Transcription works best when you speak the language set on your iPhone. It may make more mistakes when you speak another language, so check the text before saving. Tapify needs microphone and speech-recognition access. Voice transcription is not currently available on Android. ## Add a tag 1. Open a contact. 2. Tap the **More** button. 3. Select **Add tag**. 4. Choose an existing tag. With a personal Pro account, you can create a tag by entering its name and choosing a color. Removing a tag from one contact does not delete the tag itself. ## Delete a tag Open the tag selector and use its delete action. Deleting a tag removes it from every contact that uses it, but it does not delete those contacts. ## Team-managed tags Tags on a team account belong to the workspace. You can assign the tags available to you. Contact your workspace administrator if a tag is missing or should be removed for the whole team. ## Filter by tag On iPhone: 1. Open **Contacts**. 2. Tap the filter button. 3. Select one or more tags. A contact is shown when it has one of the selected tags. Android currently shows tags on contacts but does not include tag filtering. # Groups and multiple brand kits Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/brand-kit/groups Organize team members and give different parts of your workspace their own branding. Groups help you organize members by team, location, brand, or another structure. Each group is connected to a brand kit. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Create a group 1. Open **Settings → Groups**. 2. Select **Add group**. 3. Enter the group name. 4. Select **Add group**. A new group initially uses the workspace’s default brand kit. ## Choose a brand kit for a group 1. Open the group’s actions and select **Edit**. 2. Choose an existing **Brand kit**. 3. Select **Save**. All members assigned to the group use that brand kit for their digital business card and Wallet card. ## Create another brand kit New brand kits are created while editing a group: 1. Open **Settings → Groups**. 2. Edit the group that needs different branding. 3. Select **Add new brand kit**. 4. Under **Copy from**, choose the brand kit you want to use as a starting point. 5. Enter a name for the new brand kit. 6. Select **Save**. Tapify copies the profile styling, company details, editing permissions, and Wallet design. Open **Brand kit** and select the new brand kit to customize and publish it. ## Assign a member to a group 1. Open **Team**. 2. Select the member. 3. Select **Group**. 4. Choose the group. 5. Select **Save**. The member starts using the group’s brand kit. Their public link and QR code stay the same. ## Move or remove a member Open the member under **Team**, select **Group**, and choose another group or no group. A member without a group uses the workspace’s default brand kit. ## Delete a group 1. Open **Settings → Groups**. 2. Open the group’s actions and select **Delete**. 3. Confirm the deletion. Deleting a group does not delete its members. They are removed from the group and return to the default brand kit. A brand kit copied for a group remains available after the group is deleted. # Set up your brand kit Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/brand-kit/profile Control the shared appearance and company details on your team’s digital business cards. A brand kit keeps your team’s digital business cards consistent. Your workspace starts with a default brand kit, which you can update under **Brand kit → Profile**. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Choose a brand kit If your workspace has more than one brand kit, use the selector at the top of the page. Check the selected brand kit before making changes. Additional brand kits are created through groups. See [Groups and multiple brand kits](/teams/brand-kit/groups). ## Customize the appearance Use the live phone preview while changing: * **Company name** * **Brand color** * **Theme**: light or dark * **Font** * **Radius**: sharp, rounded, or circle * **Banner** For the banner, use a **5:3 ratio** to prevent unwanted cropping. **1500 × 900 px** is recommended. Upload a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF up to 5 MB. ## Add company contact details Company contact details appear across the digital business cards using this brand kit. 1. Select **Add contact**. 2. Choose a phone, email, website, address, or social media field. 3. Add a label and value where requested. 4. Select **Save**. Select an existing field to edit or delete it. Add company-wide details here; manage personal details from the individual member under **Team**. ## Choose what members can edit The brand kit includes two controls for the mobile app: * **Allow avatar editing** lets members change their own profile photo. * **Allow contact detail editing** lets members change their own contact fields. Turn a control off when the workspace should manage that information centrally. Members will see the field as managed by their organization. ## Publish changes The preview updates while you edit, but team members do not receive the changes until you publish them. 1. Review the phone preview. 2. Confirm that you are editing the correct brand kit. 3. Select **Publish**. The published design is applied to members who use that brand kit. Their existing link and QR code continue to work. Leaving the page with unpublished changes means those changes are not applied to your team. Next, [customize your Wallet cards](/teams/brand-kit/wallet). # Customize Wallet cards Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/brand-kit/wallet Apply your brand to the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards used by your team. Wallet cards give team members quick access to the QR code for their digital business card. Customize them under **Brand kit → Wallet**. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Choose the brand kit If your workspace uses multiple brand kits, select the one you want to edit at the top of the page. Its Wallet design is shared by the members assigned to that brand kit. ## Edit the Wallet design You can change: * **Card color**: the Wallet card background * **Label color**: the smaller labels * **Text color**: names and other primary information * **Apple Wallet logo** * **Strip image** Choose **Apple** or **Google** under **Platform** to preview the Wallet card on each platform. You do not need to maintain two separate templates. ## Prepare your images Use these image sizes for the selected team brand kit’s Wallet design. | Image | Recommended size | Maximum file size | | --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------- | | **Apple Wallet logo** | 160 × 50, 320 × 100, or 480 × 150 px | 2 MB | | **Strip image** | At least 375 px wide with a 3:1 ratio, such as 1200 × 400 px | 5 MB | The uploaded Wallet logo is used for Apple Wallet. Google Wallet inherits the workspace logo from **Settings → General**. To change it, see [Workspace and account settings](/teams/settings/general#add-or-change-the-company-logo). Tapify accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF images. Check that the label and text colors have enough contrast against the card color in both previews. ## Publish the Wallet design 1. Review the Apple and Google previews. 2. Confirm that the correct brand kit is selected. 3. Select **Publish**. Publishing updates the Wallet design for the members using that brand kit. Existing Wallet cards normally receive the update automatically when the phone is online. If a Wallet card still shows the old design, ask the member to open Tapify and Wallet while connected to the internet. See [Teams troubleshooting](/teams/help/troubleshooting) if it does not update. For instructions members can follow to add a Wallet card, see [Set up quick access](/individual/card/wallet-quick-access). # Understand your team’s analytics Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/contacts/analytics Understand digital business card activity, contact growth, networking performance, and contact sources across your Tapify workspace. **Analytics** shows how your team’s digital business cards perform in the selected workspace. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. Core includes views, saves, and their activity chart. Connect adds contact totals, **Best networker**, and **Contact source**. The sections below identify the additional Connect reports. ## Choose a period Use the period selector to view: * Last week * Last 2 weeks * Last month * Last year The percentage beside each total compares the selected period with the matching period immediately before it. For example, **Last week** is compared with the previous week. ## Understand the totals The team Analytics page reports these actions for the selected period. | Metric | Meaning | | ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Views** | Times someone opened a team member’s digital business card. | | **Saves** | Times someone selected an option to save a team member’s details. | | **Contacts** (Connect) | Contacts added to the workspace during the selected period. | The activity chart shows how these totals changed across the period. Analytics records activity, not necessarily unique people. The same person can create more than one view or action. ## Best networker Available with Teams Connect. **Best networker** highlights the team members generating the most activity. The score combines digital business card views, saves, and contacts, with new contacts contributing most strongly. Use it as a simple activity indicator rather than a complete measure of someone’s performance. ## Contact source Available with Teams Connect. **Contact source** shows how contacts entered Tapify, including: * AI scan * Manual entry * Paper or digital business card * LinkedIn QR code * vCard * Exchange form on a digital business card This helps you understand which capture methods your team uses most. ## If Analytics is empty Analytics begins filling after team members share their digital business cards or collect contacts. Confirm that members are active and using Tapify, then check again after activity has been recorded. For a quick view of the last week, open **Overview**. # Manage team contacts Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/contacts/manage Find, update, organize, assign, and export contacts collected by your team. **Contacts** brings together the people your team captures in Tapify. Owners and admins can review contacts across the selected workspace. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. **Available with Teams Connect.** Owners and admins can use this feature. See [Core and Connect plans](/teams/settings/plans). ## How contacts are added A contact can appear when a team member: * Receives details through their digital business card * Scans a paper business card, event badge, or supported QR code * Adds a contact manually in the mobile app Owners and admins can also add contacts from the dashboard. ## Add a contact 1. Open **Contacts**. 2. Select **Add contact**. 3. Enter the person’s full name. 4. Add their email, job title, company, phone number, or website as needed. 5. Select **Add contact**. You can add more details after opening the contact. ## Find a contact Use search to find a contact by information such as their name or email address. You can also filter the list by: * **Tag** * **Connected with**: the team member who owns the relationship Clear a filter to return to all workspace contacts. If you manage several workspaces, confirm that the correct workspace is selected. ## View and update a contact Select a contact to see: * Contact details * When and how the contact was added * When the contact was enriched, if applicable * The team member they are connected with * A message submitted through a digital business card * Internal notes and tags Select a contact detail to update it. From the contact’s actions, you can send an email or change who the contact is connected with. ### Change who a contact is connected with 1. Open the contact. 2. Open the contact actions. 3. Select **Change owner**. 4. Choose a team member, or choose no owner. 5. Select **Save**. This is useful when a contact should be followed up by someone else. ## Add an internal note 1. Open the contact. 2. Select **Internal note**. 3. Add or update the note. 4. Select **Save**. An internal note is separate from a message the contact submitted through a digital business card. It is not shown to the contact. ## Organize contacts with tags 1. Open a contact or select **Add tag** from its actions. 2. Select one or more existing tags. 3. To make a new tag, select **Add tag**, enter a name, and choose a color. 4. Select **Save**. Use the **Tag** filter above the table to show contacts with a specific tag. ## Export contacts 1. Select one or more contacts in the table. 2. Select **Export selected**. Tapify downloads `contacts-export.csv`. The export includes available contact details, tags, capture method, connected team member, and enrichment date. ## Delete a contact 1. Open the contact’s actions. 2. Select **Delete**. 3. Confirm the deletion. Deleting a contact cannot be undone. Export any information you still need first. See [Privacy and workspace data](/teams/help/privacy-data) for responsible use of contact information and enrichment. # Set up Tapify for your team Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/getting-started/setup Create a Tapify Teams workspace and complete the first setup tasks. Your workspace keeps your team members, brand, contacts, analytics, products, and billing together. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Create a workspace Tapify Teams uses your work email and a verification code instead of a password. 1. Open [Tapify Teams](https://tapify.app/signup). 2. Enter your work email and select **Continue**. 3. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. 4. Add your name and job title. 5. Enter your workspace name and choose your team size. 6. Add a company logo, or skip it for now. 7. Select **Start free trial**. The free trial lasts 14 days and does not require a payment card. See [Billing and trial](/teams/settings/billing) for billing details. Tapify Teams requires a work email. Personal users create their account in the Tapify mobile app. ## Use the Overview After setup, **Overview** shows a quick view of your workspace: * Recent contacts with Connect access * Team members and pending invitations * Active and unclaimed Tapify NFC Cards * Views and saves from the last week, plus contact activity with Connect access The setup checklist links to the main tasks for getting your workspace ready: * Complete your brand kit * Add and activate team members * Assign Tapify NFC Cards * Set up a custom domain with Connect You can dismiss the checklist when you no longer need it. ## Add another workspace Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar when you manage more than one organization or team. 1. Open the workspace switcher. 2. Select **Create workspace**. 3. Enter the workspace name. 4. Select **Create workspace**. Each workspace has its own team, brand kits, contacts, settings, and subscription. Use the same switcher to move between workspaces. If you manage multiple workspaces, check which one is open before making changes. Members, brand kits, contacts, settings, and billing are separate for each workspace. ## Continue setup 1. [Set up your brand kit](/teams/brand-kit/profile) before inviting the full team. 2. [Add one member](/teams/members/add-invite) and check the card preview. 3. Send an invitation and have the member [activate the app](/individual/getting-started/join-team). 4. Test the QR code and contact form before rolling out to everyone. 5. Add the remaining members, review the billing quantity, and send their invitations. 6. [Choose Core or Connect](/teams/settings/plans) for the features your team needs. # I cannot sign in to the Teams dashboard Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/admin-sign-in Check your admin account, verification code, and dashboard invitation. Use these steps when you cannot sign in to the Tapify Teams web dashboard. Team members use the mobile app unless they also have a separate admin invitation. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check * Use the work email connected to your owner or admin account. * Enter the newest 6-digit verification code you received. * Check spam or junk folders for the email from Tapify. * Request another code if the first one expired. * Make sure you are using [Tapify Teams](https://tapify.app/login), not the mobile app sign-in for a personal account. If Tapify says no Teams account exists, ask the workspace owner to confirm your admin invitation and email address. ## More help See [Invite admins and manage dashboard access](/teams/settings/admins) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # My trial ended or Teams features are locked Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/billing-access Check trial expiry, unpaid invoices, or an ended subscription. Owners and admins can check Settings → Billing to find out why the selected team’s paid features are restricted. A Connect upgrade prompt is different from an expired or unpaid subscription. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check Open **Settings → Billing** and check the subscription status. If the trial ended, select **Choose a plan**, choose Core or Connect, review the billed member count, and complete checkout. If the subscription is **Past due** or **Unpaid**, select **Manage billing** and update your payment details in the billing portal. If you canceled, paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. After that date, resubscribe from **Settings → Billing** to restore paid features. Your workspace data is retained unless the workspace owner deletes the workspace. ## More help See [Teams billing, member counts, and trial](/teams/settings/billing) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Team brand changes are not showing Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/brand-not-updating Publish the correct brand kit and check the member’s assigned group. Owners and admins can use these checks when a member’s digital business card still shows an older team design. A preview in the brand editor is not a published change. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check 1. Open **Brand kit** and confirm that the correct brand kit is selected. 2. Check the preview and select **Publish**. 3. Open the member under **Team** and check their assigned group. 4. Confirm that the group uses the brand kit you published. 5. Refresh the member’s digital business card. For a Wallet card, ask the member to open Tapify and Wallet while online. Wallet updates can take a little longer to appear. ## More help See [Set up your brand kit](/teams/brand-kit/profile) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # A feature asks me to upgrade to Teams Connect Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/connect-required Check the selected team’s plan and features that require Connect. Use this guide when the Tapify web dashboard asks you to upgrade to Connect. An admin role and a paid plan are separate: admin access does not unlock features outside the team’s plan. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check Core includes central cards and branding. Shared dashboard contacts, CSV contact export, API keys, Zapier, custom domains, and advanced contact analytics require Connect. Open **Settings → Billing** to check the selected team’s plan. An owner or admin can choose **Change plan**. If a change is scheduled, the current plan remains active until the displayed date. See [Change your Teams plan](/teams/settings/change-plan). ## More help See [Compare Teams Core and Teams Connect](/teams/settings/plans) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # A team contact is missing from the dashboard Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/contact-missing Check Connect access, the selected team, filters, and whether the contact was saved. Shared dashboard contacts require Teams Connect. Owners and admins can use these checks when a contact collected by a team member is missing. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check * Confirm that you selected the correct workspace. * Confirm that the team has Connect access for shared dashboard contacts. * Clear the **Tag** and **Connected with** filters. * Search by the contact’s name or email address. * Ask the member who collected it to reconnect and open Tapify. * Confirm that the member finished saving the scan or exchange. A scan that was closed before saving does not create a contact. ## More help See [Manage team contacts](/teams/contacts/manage) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # My custom domain is not active Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/domain-not-active Compare the required domain records with your DNS provider’s settings. Custom domains require Teams Connect. An owner or admin adds the domain in Tapify, and the person managing your domain updates its Domain Name System (DNS) records. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check * Use a full subdomain such as `card.example.com`, without `https://`. * Add every DNS record shown under **Settings → Domain**. * Copy the record type, name, and value exactly. * Check whether your DNS provider automatically adds the main domain to the record name. * Remove conflicting records for the same subdomain. * Allow time for DNS changes to propagate, then return to the Domain page. Ask the person who manages your domain to compare the live DNS records with Tapify if the status remains **Needs configuration**. ## More help See [Set up a custom domain](/teams/settings/domain) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # A team member did not receive their invitation Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/invitation-missing Check the member’s email and invitation status, then resend the invitation. Owners and admins can resend a team-member invitation from Team in the web dashboard. Adding or importing a member does not automatically send their invitation. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Check whether an invitation was sent 1. Open **Team** and find the member. 2. Read the member’s status before resending anything. 3. If the status is **Not invited**, adding or importing the member has only created their card. Send the invitation from the member’s actions. 4. If the status is **Pending**, the invitation was sent. Confirm the email address, ask the member to check spam or junk, and resend if needed. 5. If the status is **Failed**, check and correct the email address before sending the invitation again. The member must activate Tapify with the exact work email shown in your workspace. ## More help See [Add and invite team members](/teams/members/add-invite) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # A member cannot activate their team account Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/member-activation Match the member record, invitation, and mobile sign-in email. Use these checks when an invited member cannot open their team-managed digital business card in the Tapify app. The sign-in email must match the email on the member record. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check * Confirm that the member exists under **Team**. * Send or resend their invitation. * Ask them to sign in with the invited email address. * With email sign-in, ask them to use the newest 6-digit code. * Confirm that the member has an internet connection and the latest Tapify app. Share [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup) for device-specific instructions. ## More help See [Join your team in the Tapify app](/individual/getting-started/join-team) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # Why does my Teams invoice show a different member count? Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/member-count Understand the five-member minimum, pending invitations, and invoice adjustments. Tapify Teams billing counts member records, including members who have not accepted their invitations. Standard Core and Connect subscriptions have a five-member billing minimum. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check Billing follows the total number of members under **Team**. Tapify Teams also has a five-member billing minimum. Compare **Team** with the billed quantity, including pending and uninvited members. Do not delete a member solely to adjust an invoice: deletion also removes their access and digital business card. Ask support if the count still looks wrong. Recent subscription changes can produce a prorated charge or credit on your invoice. # I cannot assign an NFC card to a team member Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/nfc-assignment Check the card’s status and team before assigning it. Owners and admins can assign an unclaimed NFC card to a member in the same team. An assigned or disabled card is not available in the list of unclaimed cards. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check * Check **Settings → Products** and confirm that the card is **Unclaimed**. * Confirm that the card belongs to the selected workspace. * Detach it from its current member before assigning it to someone else. * Open the intended member, select **Card**, choose the card code, and select **Save**. A disabled card cannot be assigned. ## More help See [Assign and activate Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/assign-activate) for the full instructions. If the issue continues, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Include your account email, team name, and the exact error. Never send a verification code, password, API key, or payment-card details. # My NFC card opens the wrong person’s digital business card Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/nfc-wrong-person Correct a team NFC card assignment and test its tap and QR code. For a team-owned NFC card, an owner or admin can move the card to the correct member. For a personal NFC card, contact support with the card code and account email instead. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## What to check 1. Open the currently assigned member under **Team**. 2. Select **Card** and detach it. 3. Open the correct member and assign the released card code. 4. Tap the card or scan its printed QR code again. The physical card and its QR code update to the newly assigned digital business card. # Privacy and workspace data Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/privacy-data Understand how digital business cards, contacts, enrichment, notes, and exports use workspace data. Owners and admins are responsible for the information they add to Tapify and how their organization uses collected contacts. This page explains the main workspace controls. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. For complete legal information, read the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy). ## Digital business cards Anyone with a member’s public link, QR code, or Tapify NFC Card can view the information published on their digital business card. Review personal and company details before inviting the member or sharing the card. Updating a digital business card changes what appears at the same online link. It does not remove information someone previously downloaded, saved to their phone, photographed, or copied elsewhere. ## Workspace contacts With Connect access, owners and admins can view contacts collected in the selected team. A contact can contain professional details, capture information, the connected team member, tags, a submitted message, and an internal note. Only store and use contact information when your organization has an appropriate reason to do so. Avoid placing sensitive personal information in internal notes or tags. ## Contact enrichment Enrichment uses the information already on a contact to look for matching details in public professional sources. Suggested information may include a job title, company, business email, website, LinkedIn profile, or business address. See the [Tapify Privacy Policy](https://tapify.app/legal/privacy-policy) for information about data processing and enrichment providers. Enrichment can make an incorrect match. Team members should review suggestions before applying them, and admins should correct inaccurate contact information when they find it. ## Messages, notes, and tags A message submitted through a digital business card is stored with the contact. Internal notes and tags are added by your team and are not shown to the contact on the digital business card. They are still workspace data and may be visible to people with access to the contact. Follow your organization’s policy when recording notes or categorizing people. ## Exporting contacts Owners and admins with Connect access can select contacts and export them as a CSV file. The downloaded file is no longer protected by Tapify’s workspace controls. * Store exports in an approved location. * Share them only with people who need access. * Remove old exports when they are no longer required. * Do not send contact exports through an unsecured channel. ## Removing data * Canceling a Teams subscription does not delete the workspace or its data. Tapify retains the data so the customer can resubscribe or delete the workspace later. * Deleting a contact permanently removes it from the workspace. * Deleting a team member removes their workspace data and access. * Deleting a workspace removes its team members, contacts, brand kits, products, settings, and access. These actions do not remove copies that were previously exported, downloaded, or saved outside Tapify. For an access, correction, portability, restriction, or deletion request, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). Tapify may need to verify the requester and workspace. # Fix a problem in Tapify Teams Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/help/troubleshooting Find the right troubleshooting guide for your Tapify account. Choose the problem that matches what you see. Each guide explains what to check and when to contact support. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Find your issue * [A feature asks me to upgrade to Teams Connect](/teams/help/connect-required) * [I cannot sign in to the Teams dashboard](/teams/help/admin-sign-in) * [A team member did not receive their invitation](/teams/help/invitation-missing) * [A member cannot activate their team account](/teams/help/member-activation) * [Team brand changes are not showing](/teams/help/brand-not-updating) * [A team contact is missing from the dashboard](/teams/help/contact-missing) * [I cannot assign an NFC card to a team member](/teams/help/nfc-assignment) * [My NFC card opens the wrong person’s digital business card](/teams/help/nfc-wrong-person) * [My custom domain is not active](/teams/help/domain-not-active) * [My trial ended or Teams features are locked](/teams/help/billing-access) * [Why does my Teams invoice show a different member count?](/teams/help/member-count) ## Contact support Email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with your account email, team name, and the exact error. Do not share verification codes, API keys, or payment-card details. # Create and revoke a Tapify API key Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/integrations/api-keys Give an integration access to your team and remove access when it is no longer needed. An owner or admin with Teams Connect can create an application programming interface (API) key for an integration. The key gives the connected software access to the selected Tapify workspace, including its members and contacts. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Create a key 1. Select the correct team in the web dashboard. 2. Open **Settings → API keys**. 3. Select **Create API key**. 4. Enter a name that identifies the integration. 5. Create the key and copy it from the confirmation. 6. Store the key privately and enter it only in the intended integration’s secure connection settings. The full key is shown when it is created. The list shows only its prefix, status, creation date, and last-used date. If you lose the full key, create a replacement and revoke the old one. ## Revoke a key 1. Open **Settings → API keys**. 2. Find the key used by the integration. 3. Select **Delete** and confirm. The key is revoked and can no longer authenticate API requests. Update any integration using it before removing an old key during a planned replacement. If a key was exposed, revoke it and create a new one. Never put an API key in a public web page, screenshot, support message, or shared document. ## Connect another system Use [Zapier beta](/teams/integrations/zapier) for supported workflows, or share the [API reference](https://docs.tapify.app/api-reference/introduction) with your developer. For direct contact exports to Attio, use the [Attio integration](/teams/integrations/attio). # Connect Tapify with Attio Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/integrations/attio Send your team's contacts and notes to Attio, automatically or when you choose. Connect Tapify to Attio to export captured contacts and saved notes. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins with Teams Connect. You also need permission to authorize integrations in Attio. ## Connect Attio 1. Sign in to your Tapify web dashboard and select your team. 2. Open **Settings → Integrations → Attio**. 3. Select **Connect Attio** and sign in to Attio. 4. Choose your Attio workspace and approve access. Tapify will show **Connected**. ## Export contacts * **Automatically:** Turn on **Automatically export new contacts** in the Attio integration settings. This applies to newly saved contacts; existing contacts are not exported automatically. * **Manually:** Open **Contacts**, select one or more contacts, then choose **Export → Export to Attio** and confirm. Contacts need a name and valid email address. Tapify matches existing Attio people by email. ## Check your exports Open **Settings → Integrations → Attio** and check **Export activity** for progress or errors. You can open an exported contact's Attio record directly from its details in Tapify. ## Disconnect Select **Disconnect** in the Attio integration settings and confirm. Future exports stop, and contacts already exported remain in Attio. # Connect Tapify with Salesforce Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/integrations/salesforce Send your team's contacts to Salesforce as leads, automatically or when you choose. Connect your existing Salesforce account to export Tapify contacts as Leads. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins with Teams Connect. ## Before you connect [Contact Tapify support](mailto:support@tapify.app) to arrange setup and get the installation link. Your Salesforce admin must install Tapify's app package once before connecting. Your Salesforce organization must support API access. The user connecting needs permission to read, create and update Leads, read Contacts, and create and link Notes. Ask your Salesforce admin to check these permissions. You do not need a Salesforce developer account or your own API credentials. ## Connect Salesforce 1. Sign in to your Tapify web dashboard and select your team. 2. Open **Settings → Integrations → Salesforce**. 3. Select **Connect Salesforce** and sign in to the Salesforce account you want to use. 4. Approve access. Tapify will show **Connected**. ## Export contacts * **Automatically:** Turn on **Automatically export new contacts**. This applies to newly saved contacts; existing contacts are not exported automatically. * **Manually:** Open **Contacts**, select one or more contacts, then choose **Export → Export to Salesforce** and confirm. Contacts need a name and valid email address. Add a company before creating a new Lead if Salesforce requires it. ## What is exported? Tapify sends the contact's name, email, company, job title, work phone, mobile and website when available. Saved notes and the LinkedIn URL are added as a separate Salesforce note. That note is exported once; later edits in Tapify do not update it. Tapify matches existing Leads by email. Automatic exports fill empty fields; manual exports update supplied details. Empty Tapify fields do not erase Salesforce values. Changes in Salesforce are not copied back to Tapify. ## Check your exports Open **Settings → Integrations → Salesforce** and check **Export activity** for progress or errors. If an export needs attention, follow the message before retrying. Duplicate matches, existing Contacts and converted Leads require review in Salesforce. ## Disconnect Select **Disconnect** in the Salesforce integration settings and confirm. Future exports stop. Leads and notes already exported remain in Salesforce. # Connect Tapify with Zapier Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/integrations/zapier Connect Tapify to Zapier and automate contact workflows. Use Zapier to send Tapify contacts to another app or bring contacts into Tapify. The integration is in beta. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. Teams Connect is required. An owner or admin creates the API key under **Settings → API keys**. ## Choose an integration route Zapier beta and the [workspace API](/api-reference/introduction) provide routes to other systems. Connect also includes [CSV contact export](/teams/contacts/manage#export-contacts). For direct contact exports to Attio, use the [Attio integration](/teams/integrations/attio). Check the trigger, action, and field mapping in Zapier, then test with a sample contact before enabling the workflow. ## Connect your account 1. In Tapify, open **Settings → API keys**. 2. Select **Create API key** and save the key privately. 3. In Zapier, connect your Tapify account and enter the API key when asked. ## Automate contact workflows Use Tapify triggers to start a workflow when a contact is created or updated. Use Tapify actions to create or update contacts from another app. Keep your API key private. It provides access to your Tapify workspace. # Get to know Tapify Teams Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/introduction Manage your team’s digital business cards, contacts, brand, and Tapify NFC Cards. Tapify Teams gives owners and administrators one place to manage their workspace. Team members use the Tapify mobile app on iPhone or Android to share their digital business cards and capture contacts. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. Core covers team cards and branding. Connect adds shared contacts, advanced contact analytics, integrations, and a custom domain. Start with [Compare Core and Connect](/teams/settings/plans) if you are choosing a plan. ## Find your way around See recent activity, key totals, and setup progress. Add, invite, and manage team members. Keep every digital business card and Wallet card on brand. With Connect, find, organize, and export contacts collected by your team. Understand how your team’s digital business cards perform. Order cards, then assign or activate them for team members. ## How Tapify Teams works * A **workspace** contains your team members, brand kits, contacts, products, settings, and subscription. * The **owner** created the workspace and is the only person who can delete it. * An **admin** can manage the workspace alongside the owner. * A **team member** uses the Tapify mobile app and has a digital business card managed by the workspace. * A **contact** is someone a team member captured or someone who exchanged details through a digital business card. * A **Tapify NFC Card** is a physical card that opens a team member’s digital business card. Owners and admins use the web dashboard. Team members should follow [Join your team in the app](/individual/getting-started/join-team) for the iPhone and Android apps. ## Start here 1. [Set up your workspace](/teams/getting-started/setup). 2. [Set up your brand kit](/teams/brand-kit/profile). 3. [Add and invite team members](/teams/members/add-invite). 4. [Assign Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/assign-activate), if your team uses them. # Add and invite team members Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/members/add-invite Add members one at a time or by CSV, then invite them to Tapify. Adding a team member creates their digital business card in your workspace. Sending the invitation is a separate step, so you can finish their details before they receive access. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Add one team member 1. Open **Team**. 2. Select **Add member → Add one**. 3. Enter the member’s work email, first name, and last name. 4. Add a job title and department, if needed. 5. Select **Add member**. The new member appears with the status **Not invited**. You can open them to add contact details, an About section, a group, or a Tapify NFC Card before sending the invitation. ## Import members with a CSV Use a CSV when you want to prepare several digital business cards at once. 1. Open **Team**. 2. Select **Add member → Import CSV**. 3. Download the **CSV template**. 4. Add your members without changing the column names. 5. Save the file as CSV and upload it. 6. Review the import summary. 7. Select **Import**. The required columns are **account email**, **first name**, and **last name**. The template also accepts job title, department, About content, phone, contact email, website, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. Rows under **Needs attention** are not imported. Fix missing names, invalid emails, duplicate emails, or members who already exist, then upload the file again. Imported members are not invited automatically. ## Send invitations ### Invite one member 1. Find the member in **Team**. 2. Open their actions and select **Invite**. 3. Select **Preview email** if you want to check the invitation. 4. Select **Send invite**. ### Invite several members 1. Select the members in the Team table. 2. Select **Invite selected**. 3. Review the number of recipients. 4. Select **Send invites**. The invitation asks each member to download Tapify, activate with their work email, and start sharing. They must use the same email address shown in your workspace. ## Understand member statuses The member status in the Team table shows whether their mobile account invitation has been sent and activated. | Status | Meaning | | --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Not invited** | The digital business card exists, but no invitation has been sent. | | **Pending** | The invitation was sent, but the member has not activated Tapify yet. | | **Active** | The member activated their account in the Tapify mobile app. | | **Failed** | Tapify could not send the invitation. Check the email address and try again. | If an invitation is still pending, confirm the email address with the member and send it again if needed. For mobile activation help, share [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup). Adding a member updates your subscription quantity. Sending their invitation later does not change it. # Manage team members Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/members/manage Update digital business cards, assign groups and NFC Cards, and remove members. Open **Team** and select a member to manage their digital business card and workspace assignments. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Update a member From the member panel, you can update: * First and last name * Job title and department * Profile photo * Phone numbers, email addresses, websites, addresses, and social links * About title and text Select a detail to edit it, or select **Add contact** to add another contact field. Changes to the member’s digital business card are available through the same link and QR code. The brand kit controls whether team members can change their own profile photo and contact details in the mobile app. Owners and admins can continue to manage these fields from the dashboard. ## Preview and share the digital business card Use the actions at the top of the member panel to: * **Preview** the digital business card * **Copy link** to copy its public link * **Download QR code** to save a branded PNG The QR code opens the same digital business card as the copied link. ## Assign a group 1. Open the member. 2. Select **Group**. 3. Choose a group, or choose no group. 4. Select **Save**. The group determines which brand kit the member uses. See [Groups and multiple brand kits](/teams/brand-kit/groups). ## Assign a Tapify NFC Card 1. Open the member. 2. Select **Card**. 3. Choose an unclaimed card code. 4. Select **Save**. To make the card available again, open **Card** and select **Detach**. See [Assign and activate Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/assign-activate) for the complete process. ## Send an invitation again Open the member’s actions and select **Invite**. Confirm the email address before resending, because the member must activate Tapify with that exact address. ## Remove a member 1. Open the member’s actions. 2. Select **Delete**. 3. Review the warning. 4. Select **Delete** again. Deleting a member removes their workspace data and access, and updates the subscription quantity. Their digital business card will no longer be available. Deleting a team member cannot be undone. Export or transfer any information you still need before deleting them. # Assign and activate Tapify NFC Cards Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/nfc-cards/assign-activate Connect Tapify NFC Cards to team members and manage your card inventory. Each Tapify NFC Card connects to one team member’s digital business card. You can assign it from the dashboard or let the member activate an unclaimed card. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Assign a card from the dashboard 1. Open **Team**. 2. Select the team member. 3. Select **Card**. 4. Choose an unclaimed card code. 5. Select **Save**. The Tapify NFC Card is now active. Tapping it or scanning its QR code opens that member’s digital business card. If no card is available, confirm that the card belongs to the selected workspace and has not already been assigned. ## Let a member activate their card The member must already have a Tapify account before activating the Tapify NFC Card. 1. Scan or tap the unclaimed Tapify NFC Card. 2. Enter the email address used for the Tapify account. 3. Confirm the activation. For a team-managed account, the email must match the member’s email in your workspace. After activation, both the NFC tap and printed QR code open their digital business card. A member who has not set up Tapify yet should first follow [Sign in and set up Tapify](/individual/getting-started/setup). ## Move a card to another member 1. Open the current member under **Team**. 2. Select **Card**. 3. Select **Detach**. 4. Open the new member. 5. Select **Card**, choose the released card code, and select **Save**. The physical card now opens the new member’s digital business card. You do not need to replace its NFC chip or QR code. ## Check card inventory Open **Settings → Products** to see totals by product: | Status | Meaning | | ------------- | ------------------------------------ | | **Active** | Connected to a team member. | | **Unclaimed** | Available to assign or activate. | | **Disabled** | Not available for use or assignment. | The **Overview** also shows totals for active and unclaimed Tapify NFC Cards. ## If activation does not work * Confirm that the card is unclaimed. * Check that the member already exists in the workspace. * Enter the exact email address connected to the member’s Tapify account. * Confirm that the card belongs to the same workspace. * Try scanning the printed QR code if the phone does not detect NFC. For more help, see [Teams troubleshooting](/teams/help/troubleshooting). # Design Tapify NFC Cards Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/nfc-cards/design Use the online designer or provide a print-ready PDF for your custom team cards. You can design custom Tapify NFC Cards online after checkout or create the design in your own software and send Tapify a print-ready PDF. **Applies to:** Anyone ordering Tapify NFC Cards, including individuals and team admins. ## Choose a design method Choose a method based on the NFC card you ordered and how you prepare artwork. | Method | Best for | | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Online designer** | Creating a Custom NFC Card design without separate design software. | | **Print-ready PDF** | Using your own designer, brand files, or preferred design software. | | **Assisted engraving** | Finalizing a Engraved Metal NFC Card design with Tapify. | ## Use the online designer After paying for **Custom NFC Card**, the confirmation page opens the card designer. Tapify also emails you a link so you can return to it. In the designer, you can: * Choose a background color * Upload PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG artwork * Add and position text * Review the front and back of the card Save your work if you need to return later. When the design is ready, select **Submit design** and confirm. Tapify shows a submission confirmation and reviews the print files before production. Review the design carefully before submitting it. A submitted design can no longer be edited in the designer. Contact support with your order number immediately if you find a mistake; a change cannot be guaranteed once production has started. ## Create a print-ready PDF Use the Tapify templates with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or another design tool that can export a print-ready PDF. Download the Tapify NFC Card template package. Use these specifications for the front and back: | Requirement | Specification | | ---------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | | **Finished card size** | 85.6 × 54 mm | | **Bleed** | 3 mm on every side | | **PDF page size with bleed** | 91.6 × 60 mm | | **Resolution** | At least 300 DPI | | **Export format** | PDF without crop, registration, or other print marks | ### Show where the QR code belongs Tapify generates the final QR code for each card. In your design, either: * Add an example QR code in the preferred position and colors. * Add a white placeholder box where the QR code should appear. Do not use a final personal QR code in the artwork. Tapify adds the working QR codes during production. ### Send the PDF to Tapify After ordering, follow the instructions in your order or design email to send the PDF. Include the order number so Tapify can connect the file to the correct order. If you did not receive the instructions, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with the order number. Tapify checks the file before production and contacts you if anything needs to be corrected. ## Design an Engraved Metal NFC Card After checkout, Tapify contacts you to finalize the engraving. You receive a proof to approve before production begins. ## Different designs in the same order The online editor shows how many cards will use the design. Check that quantity before submitting. If you need different names or artwork across the order, use **Contact support** in the designer and include your order number before submitting a shared design. For timing after submission or proof approval, see [NFC card production and delivery](/teams/nfc-cards/shipping). # Order Tapify NFC Cards Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/nfc-cards/order Choose, order, and prepare Tapify NFC Cards for your team. Tapify NFC Cards give team members a physical way to share their digital business card. The other person can tap the card with their phone or scan its QR code. **Applies to:** Anyone ordering Tapify NFC Cards, including individuals and team admins. ## Choose a card Open [Tapify NFC Cards](https://tapify.app/nfc-business-card), or select **Order NFC cards** from the Teams dashboard sidebar. The order page shows the current price, available options, and expected production time for each card. | Card | Best for | | --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Standard NFC Card** | A matte black card that is ready to use without a custom design. | | **Custom NFC Card** | A PVC card with your own full-color design. | | **Metal NFC Card** | A premium metal card in black or silver. | | **Engraved Metal NFC Card** | A black or silver metal card with engraved branding. | Tapify NFC Cards work without a separate card subscription. Each card can be connected to a digital business card after it arrives. ## Place an order 1. Choose the card type. 2. Choose black or silver when the card offers a color choice. 3. Enter the quantity. 4. Review any volume discount shown on the page. 5. Select **Add to cart**, review the cart, and continue to checkout. 6. Check the order confirmation and delivery details. The checkout total can vary by destination, currency, and tax. The confirmation page provides an invoice or receipt when available. ## Provide your design Custom team cards can be designed in two ways: * Use the online designer after ordering **Custom NFC Card**. * Create a print-ready PDF with a Tapify template and send it to us. For **Engraved Metal NFC Card**, Tapify contacts you after checkout to finalize the engraving and provide a proof. See [Design Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/design) for the complete design process and file requirements. ## After the cards arrive Connect each card to its team member before it is shared. You can activate a card by scanning it, or assign a card that is available in your workspace from **Team**. Continue with [Assign and activate Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/assign-activate). ## Delivery and order help See [Production, delivery, and tracking](/teams/nfc-cards/shipping) before planning your rollout. For a damaged order or return request, see [Returns and replacements](/teams/nfc-cards/returns). # Return an NFC card or report a damaged order Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/nfc-cards/returns Check the return policy and request help with a damaged, misprinted, or faulty card. The return process depends on whether your Tapify NFC card was personalized. Contact support with your order number before sending a card back. **Applies to:** Anyone ordering Tapify NFC Cards, including individuals and team admins. ## Non-personalized cards Tapify’s published policy allows a non-personalized product to be returned within 14 days of delivery if it is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Tapify issues a refund to the original payment method after receiving and inspecting the return. ## Personalized cards Custom-made cards are produced for your order. The published policy does not accept change-of-mind returns, refunds, or exchanges for personalized products. If a custom product arrives damaged, misprinted, or not working as expected, contact Tapify within 14 days. Support may request a photo or other evidence and will arrange a replacement when appropriate. ## Contact support about your order 1. Email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app). 2. Include your order number and the email used at checkout. 3. Explain what is wrong and which card is affected. 4. Add a clear photo if the problem is visible. 5. Follow support’s instructions for the return or replacement. This article summarizes the [Shipping and returns policy](https://tapify.app/legal/shipping-and-returns); read the policy for its full terms. For NFC reading problems, first try [NFC card troubleshooting](/individual/help/nfc-not-working). # NFC card production, delivery, and tracking Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/nfc-cards/shipping Check when production starts, delivery estimates, and where to find tracking. Tapify NFC card delivery has two stages: preparing the card and shipping it to you. The delivery estimates start after dispatch, so allow time for both stages. **Applies to:** Anyone ordering Tapify NFC Cards, including individuals and team admins. ## Production and dispatch The current standard production times depend on the NFC card you order: | NFC card | Production or dispatch estimate | | ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- | | Standard NFC Card | Usually ships within 2 business days | | Metal NFC Card | Usually ships within 2 business days | | Custom NFC Card | 10 business days after you submit your design | | Engraved Metal NFC Card | 10 business days after you approve the design proof | For a Custom NFC Card, paying for the order does not complete the design step. Open the design link in your order email, finish both sides, and submit the design. Engraved Metal NFC Cards require design proof approval before production starts. ## Delivery after dispatch Tapify ships worldwide with tracking. The published delivery estimates after dispatch are: | Destination | Estimated delivery | | ------------- | ------------------ | | Netherlands | 1–2 business days | | Europe | 2–6 business days | | Rest of world | 5–12 business days | These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Check your order confirmation and tracking for the information specific to your shipment. ## Find tracking or ask about an order Tapify emails tracking when the order ships. Search your inbox and spam folder using the email address you used at checkout. If you cannot find tracking or the order is later than expected, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with your order number and checkout email. Include whether your design has been submitted or your engraving proof approved. See [Design Tapify NFC Cards](/teams/nfc-cards/design) and the [Shipping and returns policy](https://tapify.app/legal/shipping-and-returns). # Invite admins and manage dashboard access Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/admins Invite administrators and understand the difference between an owner, admin, and team member. Owners and admins use the Tapify Teams dashboard to manage a workspace. Team members use the Tapify mobile app and do not need dashboard access. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. The plan and role are separate. Core and Connect both support owners and admins; admin access does not unlock features outside the team’s plan. ## Understand workspace roles These roles apply within a single Tapify team. Available features also depend on the team’s plan. | Role | Access | | --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Owner** | Manages the workspace and is the only person who can delete it. Every workspace has one owner. | | **Admin** | Manages team members, brand kits, settings, products, and billing. Shared contacts, API keys, and custom domains require Connect. | | **Team member** | Uses their digital business card and contact tools in the Tapify mobile app. | Admin access is separate from a team member invitation. Use **Settings → Admins** when someone needs to help manage the workspace. ## Invite an admin 1. Open **Settings → Admins**. 2. Select **Add admin**. 3. Enter the person’s full name and email address. 4. Select **Add admin**. Tapify sends an invitation by email. The new admin opens the invitation, requests a verification code, and enters the 6-digit code to join the workspace. If the email already has access to the workspace, Tapify will not create another admin entry. Admins should use their own account. Do not share verification codes or dashboard access between people. ## Remove an admin 1. Open **Settings → Admins**. 2. Find the admin. 3. Select **Remove**. 4. Confirm the removal. The person immediately loses admin access to that workspace. Removing admin access does not delete other workspaces they manage. You cannot remove: * The workspace owner * Your own admin access Ask another admin or the owner to remove your access if needed. ## If an admin manages several workspaces The admin can use the workspace switcher in the sidebar. Access, members, contacts, brand kits, and billing remain separate for each workspace. # Teams billing, member counts, and trial Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/billing Understand member billing, proration, invoices, and subscription changes. Tapify Teams Core and Teams Connect are billed by the number of members in a team. Each workspace has its own trial, subscription, invoices, and payment details. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. Open **Settings → Billing** to see the selected workspace’s plan, status, team members, price per member, and renewal or trial-end date. See [Core and Connect plans](/teams/settings/plans) for current EUR prices, volume discounts, and included features. Owners and admins can manage billing. Existing or individually agreed subscriptions may have different prices or member minimums; use the terms shown for your subscription. ## Trial and member billing A new workspace starts with a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required. When you subscribe, billing follows the number of members under **Team**, with a minimum of five. Adding or importing members increases the quantity, and deleting members reduces it. Invitation and activation status do not affect billing. For example, a workspace with three members is billed for five. Adding a fourth or fifth member does not change the amount. Adding a sixth member increases the billing quantity to six. Imported members are added to the billing quantity immediately. Review a large CSV before importing it. ## Choose monthly or yearly billing 1. Open **Settings → Billing**. 2. Select **Choose a plan**. 3. Choose Core or Connect and monthly or yearly billing. 4. Review the member count, trial terms, and total, then complete checkout. Yearly billing shows an equivalent monthly price per member but is charged for the full year. VAT is calculated at checkout and is not included in the displayed subscription price. ## Switch between monthly and yearly billing Open **Settings → Billing → Change plan**. Switching from monthly to yearly can start after confirmation; switching from yearly to monthly is scheduled for renewal. Check the effective date and any charge before confirming. See [Change your Teams plan](/teams/settings/change-plan). ## How proration works Tapify automatically prorates member changes. Adding a member can create a charge for the remaining time in the billing period; removing one can create a credit for unused time. Volume-price changes can also affect the adjustment, so review the invoice when the team crosses a pricing threshold. | Billing schedule | When member changes are billed | | ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Monthly** | On your next regular monthly invoice. | | **Yearly** | On a monthly adjustment invoice. Your base subscription still renews yearly. | Member changes are grouped instead of creating a separate invoice each time, and they do not change your renewal date. Check the service dates on an invoice to see which period each charge or credit covers. Prorated credits reduce a future invoice and are not automatically refunded. A member change below the five-member minimum does not change the subscription quantity. For example, moving from five members to four remains billed as five and does not create a credit. ## Manage the subscription and invoices Select **Manage billing** to open the Stripe-hosted billing portal. See [Download Teams invoices and update payment details](/teams/settings/invoices) for the steps. There you can: * View and download invoices * Update payment, billing, and tax details * Check charges, credits, and renewal dates * Cancel the subscription ## Cancel the subscription Follow [Cancel your Tapify Teams subscription](/teams/settings/cancel-subscription) to stop renewal through the billing portal. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the workspace keeps access to paid features until that date. After the billing period ends, paid features are restricted. Tapify retains the workspace data so you can resubscribe later or [delete the workspace](/teams/settings/general#delete-a-workspace) if you no longer need it. Canceling the subscription does not delete the workspace or its data. ## Subscription statuses The status under Settings → Billing explains the selected team’s current subscription state. | Status | Meaning | | ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Trial** | The 14-day free trial is still active. | | **Active** | The subscription is paid and available. | | **Past due** or **Unpaid** | A payment needs your attention. | | **Canceled** | The paid billing period has ended and paid features are restricted. Workspace data is retained. | | **Paused** | The subscription or its payment collection is paused. | | **Incomplete** or **Expired** | The subscription checkout or its first payment was not completed. | If a checkout, payment, or member change does not look correct, refresh **Settings → Billing** and open **Manage billing** to review the invoice. For more help, see [Teams troubleshooting](/teams/help/troubleshooting). # Cancel your Tapify Teams subscription Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/cancel-subscription Stop your team’s subscription renewal and understand what happens to access and data. Owners and admins can cancel the selected team’s subscription through **Settings → Billing**. Cancellation applies to the whole team, so confirm which team is open before continuing. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Stop renewal 1. Open **Settings → Billing** in the Tapify web dashboard. 2. Select **Manage billing** to open the billing portal. 3. Choose the subscription cancellation option. 4. Review the end date and confirm cancellation. 5. Check the cancellation or access end date shown in the portal. If cancellation is not available, contact [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with the team name and account email. ## What happens after cancellation Paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period. After that date, paid team features are restricted. Canceling does not delete your team’s data; you can resubscribe or the owner can delete the workspace separately. Export any contacts you need while Connect is still active. Review automations or integrations that depend on paid access before the subscription ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous payments. Review invoices and credits in **Manage billing**. ## Ask about a refund Canceling stops renewal; it does not automatically refund previous charges. For a **Teams** payment, contact [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with your team name and invoice reference to ask about your payment. A refund is not guaranteed. For a personal **Pro** payment made through Apple or Google Play, use that store’s refund process instead. If you are unsure which plan you paid for, check the receipt first: a Tapify Teams invoice and an Apple or Google Play receipt refer to different subscriptions. ## Canceling a plan change is different **Cancel change** on the plan page removes a scheduled switch between plans or billing periods. It does not cancel subscription renewal. See [Change your Teams plan](/teams/settings/change-plan). A personal Pro subscription is canceled through Apple or Google Play. See [Cancel Tapify Pro](/individual/pro-account/cancel-pro). # Change your Teams plan Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/change-plan Switch between Core and Connect or monthly and yearly billing, and review when the change takes effect. Owners and admins can change the team's plan from **Settings → Billing**. The change applies to the whole team. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Choose the new plan 1. Open **Settings → Billing**. 2. Select **Change plan**. During a trial or before subscribing, select **Choose a plan**. 3. Choose monthly or yearly billing. 4. Select Core or Connect. 5. Review the price, billed member count, any amount due, and the effective date. 6. Confirm the change on the review or checkout screen. Selecting a different billing period in the comparison does not change your subscription by itself. Finish the confirmation step. ## When changes take effect For an active standard Teams subscription, changes normally follow this schedule. The confirmation screen shows the date for your subscription. | Change | Timing | | -------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------- | | Core to Connect without switching from yearly to monthly | After confirmation and any required payment | | Monthly to yearly on the same plan | After confirmation and any required payment | | Connect to Core | At the current renewal date | | Yearly to monthly, including a simultaneous plan change | At the current renewal date | Changes during a trial can follow different timing. Always use the date shown in the confirmation for your subscription. For a change that starts immediately, the confirmation shows any prorated amount. A scheduled change keeps the current plan until the displayed date. ## Before switching to Core Core keeps central card management and branding. Shared dashboard contacts, CSV contact export, custom-domain management, the workspace API, Zapier, and advanced contact analytics require Connect. Export any contact information you need while Connect is still active. Review automations that use your API key and any custom-domain links before the change. Ask support about an existing custom domain before relying on it after a downgrade. ### Check mobile access before a downgrade Before switching to Core, ask support to confirm which scanning, enrichment, and tag features your mobile account will retain. Your mobile access can depend on your account and subscription; the dashboard restrictions above do not confirm what a particular app account will retain or lose. A personal Pro subscription does not upgrade the team's dashboard or enable Connect integrations. ## Cancel a scheduled change Return to the plan selection page under **Settings → Billing**. If a change is pending, the notice shows the plan and date. Select **Cancel change** to keep the current plan. Canceling a scheduled plan change is different from canceling the subscription. To stop renewal, use **Manage billing**. ## If a plan cannot be changed * Resolve a payment problem through **Manage billing**. * Review an existing scheduled change before choosing another. * If cancellation is already scheduled, review it in **Manage billing** first. * Ask an owner or admin if you do not have billing access. * Contact support for an individually agreed subscription or a team with more than 100 members. See [Compare Teams Core and Teams Connect](/teams/settings/plans) for prices and included features. # Set up a custom domain Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/domain Open your team’s digital business cards from a branded web address. A custom domain lets your workspace use an address such as `card.example.com` for its digital business cards. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. **Available with Teams Connect.** Owners and admins can use this feature. See [Core and Connect plans](/teams/settings/plans). ## Before you start You need access to the DNS settings for your company’s domain. If another person manages the domain, send them the DNS records shown by Tapify. Use a subdomain such as: * `card.example.com` * `connect.example.com` * `people.example.com` ## Add the domain 1. Open **Settings → Domain**. 2. Enter the full subdomain without `https://` or a page path. 3. Select **Add**. If the domain needs DNS changes, Tapify shows the required **Type**, **Name**, and **Value** records. ## Add the DNS records 1. Sign in to your DNS provider. 2. Open the DNS settings for the main domain. 3. Add each record exactly as Tapify shows it. 4. Save the DNS changes. 5. Return to Tapify and leave the page open while the status is checked. DNS changes can take time to appear. Do not add extra characters or include the full domain in the **Name** field if your provider adds it automatically. ## Understand the status | Status | Meaning | | ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | | **Active** | The domain is connected and ready to use. | | **Needs configuration** | Add or correct the DNS records shown by Tapify. | | **Not configured** | No working domain configuration was found. | DNS providers use different names for the same fields. **Host** can mean **Name**, and **Target** can mean **Value**. ## Remove the domain 1. Open **Settings → Domain**. 2. Select **Delete**. 3. Remove the old Tapify DNS records from your DNS provider when they are no longer needed. The workspace returns to its standard Tapify address. Existing links using the removed custom domain will stop working, so update any places where you published that address. If the status does not become active, see [Teams troubleshooting](/teams/help/troubleshooting). # Workspace and account settings Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/general Update workspace details, change your account settings, or delete a workspace. Workspace settings apply to the selected organization. Account settings apply to your own Tapify Teams login. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Change the workspace name 1. Open **Settings → General**. 2. Find **Workspace name** and select **Edit**. 3. Enter the new name. 4. Select **Save**. The new name appears in the dashboard and workspace communications. ## Add or change the company logo 1. Open **Settings → General**. 2. Select **Add logo** or **Change logo**. 3. Choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. The logo is uploaded as soon as you choose it. Tapify uses it in places such as the workspace switcher, invitations, and branded QR codes. The workspace logo is separate from images in your brand kit. Update **Brand kit** when you want to change the digital business card or Wallet design. ## Change your account email 1. Open your account from the bottom of the sidebar. 2. Open **Account**. 3. Find **Email** and select **Change**. 4. Enter the new email address. 5. Enter the 6-digit code sent to that address. Your account email is used to sign in to Tapify Teams. Changing it does not change a team member’s contact email on their digital business card. ## Change the dashboard language Open **Account** and choose your preferred language. The setting changes the Tapify Teams interface for your account. ## Switch or create a workspace Use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to open another workspace or select **Create workspace**. Each workspace has separate data and billing. ## Delete a workspace Only the workspace owner can delete a workspace. 1. Confirm that the correct workspace is selected. 2. Open **Settings → General**. 3. Select **Delete workspace**. 4. Review the warning and confirm. Deleting the workspace cancels its Tapify Teams subscription and permanently removes its team members, digital business cards, contacts, brand kits, products, settings, and workspace access. Workspace deletion cannot be undone. Export required contacts and save any other information before continuing. Deleting a workspace does not delete any other Tapify workspace you own or administer. # Download Teams invoices and update payment details Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/invoices Use the billing portal for invoices, payment methods, and billing information. Owners and admins can find invoices and payment details for the selected Tapify team under **Settings → Billing → Manage billing**. Each team has its own billing portal and invoices. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. ## Download an invoice 1. Select the correct team in the dashboard. 2. Open **Settings → Billing**. 3. Select **Manage billing**. 4. Open the invoice history in the billing portal. 5. Select an invoice and download the available invoice or receipt. Check the invoice’s service dates as well as its issue date. Member changes can appear as prorated adjustments. Yearly subscriptions can have monthly adjustment invoices in addition to the yearly base invoice. ## Update payment or billing information Open **Manage billing** and use the available payment, billing, or tax-information controls. Review the details and save the change. If a past invoice needs correction, contact support instead of assuming that updating your details changes issued invoices. ## If you cannot find a charge Confirm that you selected the team that was billed. Personal Tapify Pro purchases are handled through Apple or Google Play, and NFC card orders have their own order confirmations. A Teams invoice will not show every Tapify purchase. For help, email [support@tapify.app](mailto:support@tapify.app) with the team name, account email, and invoice reference. Do not send full card details. See [Teams billing and trial](/teams/settings/billing) for member counts and adjustments. # Compare Teams Core and Teams Connect Source: https://docs.tapify.app/teams/settings/plans Choose a Teams plan and understand pricing, member minimums, and included features. Tapify Teams has two plans. **Teams Core** covers central management of digital business cards, members, and branding. **Teams Connect** includes Core and adds shared contact management and follow-up tools. **Applies to:** Team owners and admins using the Tapify web dashboard. Owners and admins choose one plan for the whole team. You do not choose different plans for individual members. ## Can one team mix Core and Connect seats? No. Every member in one team uses the same Teams plan. You cannot keep a team on Core and upgrade only two members to Connect. For example, changing a team with 10 members from Core to Connect changes the plan for all 10 members. The five-member billing minimum is a separate rule; it does not allow mixed Core and Connect seats. ## Compare team features These features apply to the team’s web dashboard and shared card setup. | Feature | Core | Connect | | ----------------------------------------------------- | ------------ | -------- | | Manage members and digital business cards | Included | Included | | Import members by CSV | Included | Included | | Shared brand kits, groups, and editing controls | Included | Included | | QR, Wallet, and NFC sharing | Included | Included | | Contact exchange form | Included | Included | | Card views and saves in team analytics | Included | Included | | Manage and export shared contacts in the dashboard | Not included | Included | | Contact totals, sources, and Best networker analytics | Not included | Included | | Workspace API and Zapier beta | Not included | Included | | Custom domain | Not included | Included | Connect also includes Pro features for members, including unlimited scanning, enrichment, and tags. For the full mobile feature comparison and scan allowances, see the [Tapify pricing page](https://tapify.app/pricing). Physical NFC business cards are optional and sold separately. Both plans support them. ## EUR prices These prices apply to the current standard plans for teams with 5–24 members, excluding VAT. | Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | | ------------- | -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- | | Teams Core | €2.50 per member per month | €24 per member per year, equivalent to €2 per month | | Teams Connect | €5 per member per month | €48 per member per year, equivalent to €4 per month | Yearly billing charges the full year. For five members, Core costs €12.50 monthly or €120 yearly. Connect costs €25 monthly or €240 yearly. These examples exclude VAT. The checkout shows your currency, applicable tax, and total before you confirm. Existing or individually agreed subscriptions can have different terms. Check **Settings → Billing** for your team's subscription. ## Member minimum and volume pricing Both standard plans have a five-member billing minimum. A team with three members is billed for five. Members count from creation, even if their invitation is pending. | Team size | Discount on the standard per-member price | | --------- | ----------------------------------------- | | 5–24 | No volume discount | | 25–49 | 10% | | 50–74 | 15% | | 75–99 | 20% | | 100 | 25% | The qualifying rate applies to all billed members. For more than 100 members, [contact sales](https://tapify.app/contact/sales) for a quote. ## Choose or change a plan Open **Settings → Billing**, then select **Choose a plan** or **Change plan**. Compare the plan, billing period, member count, and total before confirming. See [Change your Teams plan](/teams/settings/change-plan) for when a change takes effect, or [Billing and trial](/teams/settings/billing) for invoices and cancellation.
