# Choose what members can edit

> Choose who can change profile photos and personal details on team cards.

Content locking controls what members can change on their own digital business cards in the Tapify app. The settings apply to everyone using the selected brand kit.

## Set editing permissions

**1. Open profile settings**

Go to **Brand kit → Profile → Settings**. If you use more than one brand kit, select the one you want to update.

**2. Choose what members can edit**

* **Allow avatar editing** lets members change their profile photo.
* **Allow contact detail editing** lets members change their name, job title, department, About section, and contact details.

For example, leave photo editing on and turn contact detail editing off if admins should manage names and job titles.

**3. Publish the settings**

Select **Publish** to apply the new editing permissions.

> Locking a field keeps its current value on the card. Admins can still [update the member’s details under Team](https://docs.tapify.app/teams/members/manage.md#update-a-member).
