# Design

> In this guide, we'll take you through the steps to design Tapify NFC Business Cards.

## Overview

The Tapify NFC Card is a smart business card equipped with an NFC chip and a QR code. It is fully customizable on both the front and back, allowing you to align it seamlessly with your company’s branding.

## Design Requirements

You can create your design using any preferred software as long as it meets the specifications below. However we recommend using our pre-made templates available for Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• **Card size**: 85.5 mm × 54 mm

• **Bleed area**: 3 mm (final file: 91.5 mm × 60 mm)

• **Resolution**: Minimum 300 DPI

## QR Code Placement

We generate and provide the final QR codes for your Tapify Card(s). You only need to specify the placement using one of the following methods:

* **Provide an example QR code**, including preferred colors if needed.
* **Add a white placeholder box** where the QR code should be placed.

## File Requirements

Export your final design as a **PDF without print marks** (e.g., crop marks, registration marks).
