Send Tapify contacts to Leads in Salesforce. You’ll need to be a Teams Connect owner or admin and have a Salesforce admin help with the initial setup.

Before you connect

Contact Tapify support to arrange setup and get the installation link for your Salesforce admin. They need to install the Tapify app package before you connect. Your Salesforce org needs API access. Ask your Salesforce admin to give the connecting user the API Enabled permission and access to read, create and update Leads, read Contacts, and read, create and link Notes. Connect Salesforce

1

Open the Salesforce integration

In Tapify, select your workspace and go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce.
2

Approve access in Salesforce

Select Connect Salesforce. Sign in to the Salesforce org where your admin installed the app and approve access. Tapify shows Connected when it’s ready.
3

Export a contact to test the connection

In Contacts, select a contact with a name, valid email address and company. Choose Export → Export to Salesforce and confirm. Return to the Salesforce integration and check Export activity.

Choose how to export

  • Automatic. Turn on Automatically export new contacts in the Salesforce integration. It sends contacts saved from then on and fills empty fields on matching leads.
  • Manual. Select one or more contacts to export from Contacts, including contacts you saved before connecting. Details you send can replace values on matching leads. Tapify keeps the name already on an existing lead.

What is exported?

Tapify matches leads by email and sends the name, email, company, job title, work phone, mobile and website when available. If the contact has an internal note or LinkedIn URL, Tapify copies it once to a Salesforce note linked to the lead.

Manage the connection

Check Export activity if a contact fails to export. Add any information Salesforce requires, such as a company name for a new lead. If the email matches multiple records, an existing Salesforce Contact or a converted Lead, review the records in Salesforce first. If Tapify says it couldn’t confirm an export, check Salesforce for the lead before retrying. Contact Tapify support if you still can’t confirm the result. If Tapify shows Reconnect required, reconnect the same Salesforce org to resume waiting exports. Select Disconnect to stop future exports. Leads and notes already exported stay in Salesforce.
