A Tapify NFC Card opens your digital business card when someone taps it with a compatible phone. The printed QR code provides another way to open it.

Order a Tapify NFC Card

  1. Open the Card tab.
  2. Tap the More button.
  3. Select Order NFC Card.
  4. Complete your order in the page that opens.

Activate your Tapify NFC Card

Create your Tapify account before activating the card. When your Tapify NFC Card arrives:
  1. Scan the QR code printed on the card.
  2. Enter the email address connected to your Tapify account.
  3. Follow the confirmation to pair the card with your account.
After pairing, the Tapify NFC Card opens your digital business card.

If activation does not work

  • If Tapify cannot find your account, create an account first or check that you entered the exact email address used to sign in.
  • If the card is already assigned, scan it to check which digital business card opens. Contact support@tapify.app if it belongs to the wrong account or you need help with reassignment.

Share with NFC

  1. Ask the other person to wake their phone.
  2. Hold your Tapify NFC Card close to the phone’s NFC reader.
  3. Wait for a notification to appear.
  4. Ask them to tap the notification to open your digital business card.
On most iPhones, the NFC reader is near the top of the phone. Its position varies on Android devices and is often near the center or upper back. The other person does not need the Tapify app.

Share with the printed QR code

Ask the other person to open their camera and scan the QR code printed on the Tapify NFC Card. They can then open your digital business card in their browser.

If NFC does not respond

  • Move the Tapify NFC Card slowly around the top or back of the phone.
  • Remove a thick or metal phone case.
  • Keep the Tapify NFC Card still for a moment.
  • Make sure the phone is unlocked.
  • On Android, check that NFC is available and turned on.
  • Use the printed QR code if the phone does not support NFC.
Editing your digital business card does not require a new Tapify NFC Card. The Tapify NFC Card continues to open the same link, which shows your current details.
