Your digital business card
Anyone with the link or QR code can view the information you place on your digital business card. Before sharing it, review your contact details, social links, About section, and images. Removing information updates your digital business card. It does not remove copies that someone already saved, downloaded, or photographed. When you use Share your card offline, the QR code contains basic contact details directly. Only use offline sharing when you are comfortable placing those details in the QR code.Scanned contacts
When you scan a paper card or badge, Tapify processes the captured image to identify visible professional contact details. When you scan a supported QR code, Tapify reads the contact data or public page linked by that code. The extracted information is shown as a review draft. You can edit it before saving. Closing the review without finishing removes the draft instead of adding it to your contacts. Check that you have an appropriate reason to store and use another person’s details. Do not scan private documents or unrelated personal information.Contact enrichment
Enrichment uses the details already on a contact to look for matching information in public professional sources. It may suggest a job title, company, business email, website, LinkedIn profile, or business address. Tapify does not add your digital business card or contact list to its enrichment sources, and never uses that information to enrich other users’ contacts. You choose which suggestions to apply. If a match is uncertain, leave it unselected or correct the contact before trying again.Notes and tags
Internal notes and tags are stored with the contact in Tapify. They are not shown to that person on your digital business card. A message submitted by the contact is shown separately from your internal note. For team accounts, contact information may belong to and be managed by the workspace. Follow your organization’s policy when recording notes or using tags.Phone contact sync
Contact sync is optional. When enabled, Tapify copies supported contact details to the Contacts app on your phone.- The sync runs from Tapify to the phone.
- Turning it off stops later copies but leaves existing phone contacts in place.
- Deleting a contact from Tapify does not remove the phone copy.
- Removing Contacts permission prevents further syncing.
