Contact enrichment checks public professional sources for useful details that are missing from a contact. It is available with Tapify Pro and is included with team accounts.

Enrich a contact

  1. Open Contacts and select a person.
  2. Tap the More button.
  3. Select Enrich contact.
  4. Wait while Tapify checks for additional details.
  5. Review the suggestions.
  6. Clear any suggestion you do not want to use.
  7. Tap Apply.
You can also select Enrich while reviewing a scan.

Privacy and enrichment

Tapify does not add your digital business card or contact list to its enrichment sources, and never uses that information to enrich other users’ contacts. When you select Enrich, Tapify uses the existing details on that contact to look for a match in public professional sources. You decide which suggestions to keep, and nothing is added until you select Apply.

What enrichment may find

Depending on what is publicly available, Tapify may suggest:
  • Job title
  • Company
  • Business email address
  • Website
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Business address
Suggestions are selected for you at first, but nothing is added until you apply it. Tapify does not replace every contact field automatically.

Improve the match

Enrichment works best when the contact already has:
  • A full name
  • A company or company website
  • A work email address
  • A LinkedIn profile
If Tapify cannot find a confident match, add a company or website and try again. Avoid applying a suggestion when you are not sure it belongs to the correct person.

When nothing new is found

This can mean:
  • The contact already contains the available details.
  • There is not enough information to identify the person.
  • No confident public match was found.
  • The source is temporarily unavailable.
Check the existing contact, add another identifying detail, and try again later.
Enrichment is intended for professional contact information. Review every suggestion before saving it.
