People do not need a Tapify account or app to open your digital business card, save your contact details, or send their details back through its online contact form. Applies to: Anyone receiving or sharing a Tapify digital business card.

Open a digital business card

Ask the recipient to scan your QR code, tap your NFC business card with a compatible phone, or open your card link. Your digital business card opens in their browser. Their phone needs internet access for the online card. The recipient can use the contact buttons and links you have published. They choose whether to save your details in their phone’s Contacts app.

Receive their details back

The recipient selects Exchange contact details, enters the information they want to share, and submits the form. Opening your card alone does not collect their name, email, or phone number. The saved contact appears in your Contacts tab. See Exchange contact details.

Use Tapify yourself

You need a Tapify account to create and manage your own digital business card. An NFC card is optional. You can use Free to share by QR code, link, and Wallet without buying a physical card. See Sign in and set up Tapify, or Share without internet when the recipient cannot get online.
