Start by checking your internet connection, closing and reopening Tapify, and installing the latest available app and system updates.
  • Use the same Apple, Google, or email account you used before.
  • When signing in by email, enter the newest 6-digit code.
  • Check spam or junk folders for the email from Tapify.
  • Request another code if the first one expired.
  • On Android, confirm that a Google Account is added to the device before using Google sign-in.
  • For a team account, sign in with the exact email address that was invited.
If Tapify says an invitation is missing or your digital business card is not ready, contact your workspace administrator.
  1. Open Card → More → Edit Card and confirm the information was saved.
  2. Check the preview in Tapify.
  3. Confirm that your phone is online.
  4. Close and reopen your digital business card.
An old screenshot, downloaded QR image in offline mode, or contact already saved on another phone does not update automatically. The online QR code and link to your digital business card continue to show the latest version. If a field is locked, it is managed by your workspace.
  • Show the complete QR code without covering its edges.
  • Increase the screen brightness.
  • Avoid glare and strong reflections.
  • Clean the scanning phone’s camera lens.
  • Try moving the phones slightly farther apart.
  • Check that the scanning phone can scan another QR code.
When Share your card offline is on, tap Preview to confirm that the QR contains usable contact details.
Camera access is offOpen your phone’s system settings, find Tapify, and allow Camera access. Return to Tapify and try again. No contact details were found
  • Choose the correct mode: Badge, Paper Card, or QR Code.
  • Place the card on a plain background.
  • Keep all text inside the frame.
  • Use even lighting and avoid blur.
  • Scan the side that contains the person’s main details.
Tapify needs a person’s name plus another useful detail to create a reliable contact. An unrelated QR link cannot be saved as a contact.I have no scans remainingThe Free plan includes 10 saved scans. Failed scans and drafts you close do not count. Add the contact manually, or compare Free and Pro.
  1. Open Settings → Preferences in Tapify.
  2. Confirm that contact sync is on.
  3. Allow Contacts access in your phone’s system settings.
  4. Open or edit the contact in Tapify and save it again.
Sync moves information from Tapify to your phone, not the other way around. Deleting a Tapify contact does not delete the phone contact, and turning sync off does not remove earlier copies. On Android, contacts that existed before sync was enabled may need to be opened and saved again.
  • Open Tapify while connected to the internet.
  • Confirm that your digital business card looks correct in the app.
  • Remove and add the Wallet card or widget again if needed.
  • On Android, allow notifications for Show QR Automatically.
  • On iPhone, turn Start Live Activity Automatically off and on again.
If Apple Wallet cannot add the Wallet card, check that Wallet is available on the device. If Google Wallet does not open, install or update Google Wallet.
  1. Check that Tapify is active under Apple or Google Play subscriptions.
  2. Use the same store account that made the purchase.
  3. Sign in to the correct Tapify account.
  4. Open the Pro purchase screen and select Restore.
  5. Restart Tapify.
Team users should see Team under Settings → Account → Subscription status.
Tapify may show a saved copy of your digital business card or contacts when it cannot refresh them. Check Wi-Fi or mobile data, disable any network setting that blocks Tapify, and try again. Avoid editing important information until the app reconnects.
